Well, it's Still a Win…
Results: Rookie 94 VS Nothing 58 Justin Herbert stunk for Here Goes Nothing in this unwatchable game Here Goes Nothing had the best record in the league coming into this game, but unfortunately for Coach Brent Knudson, the past was not prelude. Here Goes Nothing were on the losing side of a blowout, falling 94 to 58 at the hands of The Rookie. The two teams combined for the lowest score this season. That's four straight wins for The Rookie, for those of you counting, which brings their record to 9 – 5. The loss drops Here Goes Nothing's record to an identical 9 – 5. Brock Purdy was the clear leader on The Rookie this week, notching 36 points. This is the 4th time this year that Purdy has paced The Rookie. Massive passes like this helped him post a season-high 13.6 yards per attempt on Sunday. Meanwhile, Justin Herbert loomed large in the loss for Here Goes Nothing, posting 1 point.1 Herbert has now been the worst performing starter in the league over the last three weeks. He failed to top 100 passing yards before leaving Sunday's game with a fractured index finger late in the second quarter. Predictions: Rookie by 1 A great game to end the season. If the Notthing wins he earns the North Dvision. A loss and the season seires is tied 1-1, tie-breaker will be points scored. Bye week players are McBride for Nothng while the Rookie lose no starters. But the Rookie should get Justin Jefferson back this week. QBs: Purdy VS Herbert, Justin is playing Denver while Purdy is playing Seattle. What has happened to the Chargers offense, Justin has been bad the last few weeks. RBs: Pacheco & Swift VS McCaffrey & Singletary, we have to watch and see if Swift can play this week. WRs: Jefferson & Smith VS Lamb & Brown, what WR has the better week? Does JJ play like a first round pick and gives the Rookie a first division title? |
