Results: Cougars 103 VS Dead 92 Dak Prescott helps Lady Cougars end their three game losing streak Lady Cougars exceeded their expectations for five straight weeks coming into this game, did it again, and were rewarded with a victory. They slid by Not Dead Yet, winning 103 to 92. The victory ended Lady Cougars' three game losing streak. The loss drops Not Dead Yet to the last spot in the South division at 5 – 7. The win brings Lady Cougars to an identical 5 – 7. Dak Prescott was expected to be the top performing QB this week, and that's exactly what he was. Dak was the key contributor for Lady Cougars, notching 51 points. Apparently, he must have felt bad after last week's 22 point effort. He tossed four touchdowns on Sunday, including this 34-yard missile in the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson stuck out as the worst performer for Not Dead Yet, posting only 16 points.1 Coach Patrick O'Dell has to be used to bad scores from Jackson, who has been the worst performer on Not Dead Yet more times than any other player. His performances have closely tracked the fortunes of Not Dead Yet this season, as they have gone 1 – 6 when he fails to meet his expectations, and 3 – 1 when he meets them. Coach O'Dell's lineup decisions earned his team points last week, and did again this week. He started Brandin Cooks instead of George Pickens, despite the experts' prediction that Pickens should have played. This decision netted Coach O'Dell an extra 11 points. Coach O'Dell's decisions this week allow him to relinquish his title as the worst gameday coach in the league (Coach Andy Lisowski wears the crown now). Predictions: Cougars by 1 The injuries hit the following: Aaron Jones left Sunday's game and didn't look good. While the Dead are pretty much healthy this week. QBs:Jackson VS Prescott, does Dak or Patrick get the start this week for the Cougars? Lamar lost his go-to weapon in Andrews, how does that affect his passing game? RBs: Cook & Edwards VS Robsinson & Montgomery, both teams have solid weapons on the ground this week. WRs: Waddle & Hopkins VS Pickens & Moore, DJ looked good as soon as Fields stepped on the field. Hopkins is showing he still has gas left in his tank. |
