Results: Cougars 127 VS Attack 102 Jonathan Taylor and Lady Cougars beat Sack Attack for their 4th win in a row Lady Cougars have been relying on Jonathan Taylor all year, and he came through again this week. Taylor was the key component as Lady Cougars skated by Sack Attack pretty easily, winning 127 to 102. A good performance by Taylor has been crucial for Lady Cougars all year, as they have gone 4 – 2 when he exceeds expectations, and 0 – 3 when he doesn't. He reached an NFL-high top speed of 22.05 MPH on this 78-yard TD run. The only real damper on Lady Cougars' victory came from Josh Allen, who scored 11 points. Allen's performance was a spectacularly bad finish to his five game streak of beating the league average. Joe Burrow loomed large in the loss for Sack Attack, notching 7 points.1 That performance was the worst of any player this week.2 He threw this brutal 99 yard pick-six (while also getting juked out of his shoes). Sack Attack also had to deal with a bad performance from Jarvis Landry, who scored only 1 point. Landry might be heading back to the waiver wire after getting picked up before this game. The win brings Lady Cougars' winning streak to four games, and gives them a record of 4 – 5. The loss drops Sack Attack back below .500 at 4 – 5. Predictions: Cougars by 1 The Cougats lose no starters while the Attack lose Dwift and Hockenson this week. QBs: Allen VS Burrow, Josh takes on the Jacksonville on the road while Joe is home against the Browns. RBs: Harris & Mixon VS Taylor & Pollard, if the Attack is going to pull off a win they need the two backs can outscore Laurie. At WR we have Woods VS Hopkins, does Hopkins play after being banged up and missing time last week? If the Cougars are going to make a run at a playoff spot, this is a must-win game. |
