Week # 8 Results: |
Laurie LeBoeuf -VS- Scott Knepel |
Results: Cougars 102 VS Leakers 30 Josh Allen helps Lady Cougars win a laugher this week against The Leakers In a week where there were three blowouts, this was the biggest. Lady Cougars (3 – 5) perfectly destroyed The Leakers (2 – 6), winning 102 to 30. That 72 point win is the biggest blowout so far this season. The game leaves both these teams streaking in opposite directions. The victory makes it three in a row for Lady Cougars. Another defeat makes it four in a row for The Leakers. Lady Cougars were led by the trio of Josh Allen, Robert Woods, and Jonathan Taylor, who combined for 72% of their team's points. Allen has now overperformed the experts' predictions in three straight games. The hot streak has left him as the 5th best player in the league. The Leakers had never won when Justin Jefferson failed to hit his expected points, and that held true again this week. The Leakers had many underperformers, but Jefferson stood out, producing only 2 points.2 That made him the worst performer on The Leakers for the first time this year. Coach Scott Knepel seem to have forgotten to set their lineup this week. They left four players in the lineup that weren't going to get any points. That cost their team 15 points directly (plus whatever the waiver wire would have brought), which would have helped make the final score slightly less embarrassing. Predictions: Cougars by 1 These two teams square off as they had the worst record in the North and South divisions. Who gets a win as they enter the second half? The Cougars are on a roll having won two straight after an 0-5 start. The Leakers look to get healthy in the second half. QBs: Allen VS Prescott, my guess is Dak gets the start after his bye week. Does the Cougars go back to Josh after his bye week? RBs: Taylor & Drake VS Herbert & Sanders, does Barkley return this week? I love how Taylor is playing right now, the Colts will go as far this season that Taylor can carry them. Other top weapons are Jefferson VS Woods, Justin is abck from his bye week and takes on the Cowboys while Woods is having a solid season in LA as the compliment to Kupp. |
