Week # 16 Results: |
Laurie LeBoeuf -VS- Dwight Yarger |
Results: Mudders 146 VS Cougars 113 Justin Jackson scores 30 points to help put away Lady Cougars Mad Mudders had gotten terrible production out their running backs this season (2nd worst in the league), but this week it was a whole different story. Mad Mudders used a big game from their running backs to take down Lady Cougars 146 to 113. Justin Jackson scored 30 points, while Ezekiel Elliott scored 18. After his performance this week, Jackson is looking like a darn good waiver wire pickup. Ryan Succop helped out as well, exceeding his projected point total by 8 points. Succop's 16 point performance topped all kickers this week. Meanwhile, Coach Laurie Leboeuf can blame the loss on Russell Gage, the Ravens Defense/ST, and CeeDee Lamb, who together managed only 12 points. It's yet another disappointing day for Lamb, who has now underperformed the experts' predictions in three straight games. His performances have closely tracked the fortunes of Lady Cougars this season, as they have gone 2 – 5 when he fails to meet his expectations, and 4 – 1 when he meets them. In most other games, Lady Cougars' five overperforming players (led by Josh Allen, 39 points) would have brought home a win. Allen showed (once again) against the Patriots that he has the arm talent to make any throw from any angle. The win takes Mad Mudders' record to 9 – 6, while dropping Lady Cougars to 9 – 7. Predictions: Mudders by 1 These two teams split their regualr season games. Dwight won 137-71 and Laurie came back to win 102-90, but I don't think Rodgers was playing that week. The Cougars are looking for Championship game appearance #2 and Championship #2. The Mudders are also looking for Championship game appearance #2 but their first league title. Lets see how these two teams can do that. QBs: Rodgers VS Allen, Aaron is home against the Browns on Christmas Day, due to Covid we shall see if that game remains on Saturday. The Bills play at New England, with a much tougher game, I like Rodgers in the matchup/ RBs: Taylor & Hilliard or Gaskin VS Elliott & Williams, the pickup of Williams looks like a smart move, while the Cougars need to figure out who the second RB gets the start. Taylor is at Arizona on Christmas and must have a big day for the Cougars. Other top weapons are Kupp VS Gage, Kupp is one of the best WRs in the NFL, he gives this team 15+ points each week, The hope for the Cougars is Gage continues to play well in Atalana aginst the Lions defense. I am going with the division winner in this one, I like the WRs to come through for the Mudders., |
