Results: Jonathan Taylor and Lady Cougars stay hot against Mad Mudders Jonathan Taylor was expected to be the top performing RB this week, and that's exactly what he was. Lady Cougars wound up with a solid victory against Mad Mudders, winning 102 to 90 behind 26 points from Taylor. He has now outperformed the league average running back for seven straight games. After his 10th straight game with a touchdown, he became the youngest player in NFL history to make that happen. Meanwhile, Mad Mudders can place the blame for this loss squarely on Carson Wentz, who scored only 12 points.1 That performance was the worst of any player this week.2 He just simply didn't need to do much during Indy's 31-0 dismantling of Houston. Tyreek Hill falling 10.2 points short of his expectations didn't help matters much either. Hill's performances have been a good barometer for Mad Mudders this season, as they have gone 3 – 4 when he fails to meet his expectations, and 4 – 1 when he meets them. That's eight straight wins for Lady Cougars, for those of you counting, giving them a record of 8 – 5. The loss was Mad Mudders' 4th in their last five games, bringing their record to 8 – 5. Predictions: Cougars by 1 The Cougars are red-hot and looking to earn a South division title, to that they need to beat the Mudders this week and hope for some help in week #14. The bye week removes Rodgers and Crobsy from the Mudders while the Cougars lose no starters. QBs: Allen or Hurts VS Wentz, with Rodgers off this week the team turns to Caron as he takes on the Texans while Josh is home against the Pats. RBs: Elliott & Collins VS Taylor & Gaskin, it looks like Miami has found its RB in Gaskin, while Seattle is hoping Collins can provide the needed scoring agains the 49ers. Other top weapons are Tyreek Hill VS Waddle the rookkie WR in Miami had a really good game last week can he do it again? Hill was off on his bye week so his return against the Broncos will be much welcomed. |
