Kyle Kuopus -VS- Charles Bahringer |
The Thrill of (a) Victory
Results: Juggernauts 95 VS Yoopers 94 Juggernauts gets a one week break from a bleak season Da Yoopers had the best record in the league coming into this game, but unfortunately for Coach Kyle Kuopus, the past was not prelude. Da Yoopers lost a crazy close contest against Juggernauts, 95 to 94. The win is the first of the season (finally!) for Juggernauts, making their record 1 – 6. Juggernauts had a three-man strike force with Mark Andrews, Saquon Barkley, and Jonathan Taylor combining for 58 points. Andrews scored 21 points, which made him the top performer on Juggernauts for the first time this year. He proved just how deadly Baltimore's offense is by picking up a first down on this first-and-20 play. This week's loss for Da Yoopers was a true group effort. They had five underperformers, with Alexander Mattison (3 points) being the worst.1 Mattison has now been the worst performing starter in the league over the last three weeks. These teams will see a difference in the quality of their upcoming opponents. Next week Da Yoopers will be involved in a clash of the titans. They will take on Not Dead Yet in a matchup of the two top records in the league. The game will be a rematch from week three, and Coach Kuopus will no doubt be worried that Lamar Jackson will drop another 33 points for Not Dead Yet like he did the last time those teams faced off. In what should be a crawl to the finish, Juggernauts will take on Lady Cougars next week in a battle between the two lowest scoring teams in the league. That will be a rematch from week three, when Juggernauts lost 94 to 64. Predictions: Yoopers by 1 The bye week removes Dallas defense from the Juggernauts while the Yoopers lose Breece Hall and Kicker Aubrey. QBs: Cousins VS Lawerence, we shall see if Trevor can play this week as he is battlling a knee injury, RBs: Taylor & Barkley VS Matison & Etienne, Taylor is playing but when does he have a monster game to go along with his monster contract extension? WRs: Diggs & Meyers VS Williams & London, the ' Nauts hope the youth at WR continue scoring in double figures. |
