Dwight Yarger -VS- Steve Pintar |
Results: Mudders 130- VS Attack 84 Sack Attack had no chance as Cooper Kupp got the job done Mad Mudders started week seven with the best record in the league, and finished week seven with the best record in the league. They demolished Sack Attack, winning 130 to 84. The win is more of the same for Mad Mudders, who won the last game with Sack Attack by the score of 120 to 114. The loss drops Sack Attack back below .500 at 3 – 4. The win brings Mad Mudders to 6 – 1. Cooper Kupp led a very balanced group of five overperformers for Mad Mudders this week, posting 27 points.1 That's all in a day's work for the 2nd best player in the league. On top of his actual point production, his underlying targeting numbers are a fantasy manager's dream. Like Mad Mudders but in reverse, Sack Attack really lost this game as a team. They were brought down by eight underperformers, the worst of whom was Chuba Hubbard (4 points).3 Hubbard has yet to give Sack Attack even one week of above average running back play this season. Coach Steve Pintar's lineup matched the poor performance of his team. He started Hubbard instead of D'Andre Swift, despite the experts' prediction that Swift should have played. This decision shaved 21 points from Sack Attack's score, which ultimately didn't make a difference in the final outcome. It does mark the first time this year that Coach Pintar's decisions have cost his team points.
