Dwight Yarger -VS- Charles Bahringer |
Results: Juggernauts 86 VS Mudders 67 Nick Chubb drops 33 points in leading Juggernauts to victory Mad Mudders had the best record in the league coming into this game, but unfortunately for Coach Dwight Yarger, the past was not prelude. Mad Mudders got beat by Juggernauts, 86 to 67. The 67 points Mad Mudders scored are the 3rd fewest that any team has scored this season. The loss drops Mad Mudders' record to 7 – 2, while the win brings Juggernauts to 6 – 3. Juggernauts relied heavily on Nick Chubb, who dropped 33 points. Chubb used a combination of great inside running and top-end speed to go 70 yards to the house. Juggernauts also got a better-than-expected performance from Devonta Freeman, who beat his projections by 6.6 points. That makes it four straight games of overperforming expectations for Freeman. Coach Charles Bahringer's squad did well despite having to deal with Patrick Mahomes and D'Ernest Johnson, who combined to notch 13 points. Showtime avoided throwing an interception for the first time since Week 1, but also threw a season-low 166 passing yards. Meanwhile, it will be difficult for Coach Yarger to fault any one player for the loss. Tyreek Hill was the worst of an eight man group of underperformers on Mad Mudders, delivering only 3 points.1 Another underperformer, Mad Mudders' defense (the Saints), were the worst at their position this week. Carson Wentz was the only player on the team that didn't underperform, scoring 32 points. That gave him the most points on Mad Mudders for the first time this season. Predictions: Mudders by 1 The Juggernauts lose Metcalf & Evans while the Mudders lose McKissic and Godwin. QBs: Rodgers VS Mahomes, it just so happens these two teams QBs play eachother in the NFL as the Packers travel to KC. RBs: Chubb & Johnson VS Elliott & ???, Chubb is back playing and Cleveland still plans to use Johnson just like they did with Hunt. The Mudders don't have a second RB other than Gainwell, might be time for a RB pickup. Other top weapons: Hill VS Ruggs, with both top WRs out, does Huggs become the #1??? |
