Five Alive!
Results: Dominators 94 VS Dead 80 Deebo Samuel and The Dominators make it five in a row against Not Dead Yet By a score of 94 to 80, The Dominators walked away victorious over Not Dead Yet. The win must seem like deja vu for The Dominators, who won the last game with Not Dead Yet by a 81 to 79 margin. The Dominators have now finished off five straight opponents after this win, giving them a record of 9 – 5. This loss brings Not Dead Yet's losing streak to seven in a row, dropping their record to 5 – 9. Throughout The Dominators' winning streak, Deebo Samuel has been coming up with big performances. This week was no different. Samuel was a one-man wrecking crew, totaling 32 points. No other wide receiver scored more points than that this week. The Dominators is still perfect in games where he overperforms, going 6 – 0. Meanwhile, Not Dead Yet can place the blame for this loss squarely on Jared Goff, who managed only 8 points.1 That's the fewest points that he's scored this year. He was stumped by Chicago's defense: he ended a four-game streak in which he's thrown multiple TDs and was held to less than 200 yards for the first time this season. Coach Patrick O'Dell's lineup moves played a huge part in Not Dead Yet's loss. He went with Goff over the higher ranked Lamar Jackson. This decision shaved 43 points from Not Dead Yet's score, which cost them the game. Having cost his team 51 points total, Coach O'Dell is the worst game-day coach in the league this season. Predictions: Dominators by 1 The Dominators need a win and another high scoring week to earn the South divison title. The Dead are playing nothing but pride. Bye week players are Robinson for the Dead while the Dominators lose no one. QBs: Tua VS Jackson, Tua is playing the Titans while Lamar is playing the Rams. RBs: Kamara & Robinson VS Mixon & Montgomery, with Robinson off and Stevenson hurt, the Dead turn to Montgomery this week. WRs: Cooks & Pickens VS Evans & Samuel, Deebo had a monster week 13, is that a trend? |
