Week # 4 Results: |
Dennis Helm -VS- Dwight Yarger |
Oh My Josh!
Results; Josh Allen (61 points) leads Mad Mudders to a win over The Dominators Coach Dwight Yarger definitely did not have the best game personally, but their team managed to rise above their mistakes. Mad Mudders strolled past The Dominators, winning 95 to 72. The result gets both squads back to a .500 record at 2 – 2. It's not that hard to win when you get the league's top performance for the season, and Josh Allen delivered that performance. Josh Allen did it all for Mad Mudders, producing an incredible 64% of his team's points. That makes it three straight games of overperforming expectations for Allen. He did it all on Sunday: he finished with five total touchdowns; four passing and this 11-yard score on the ground. Meanwhile, The Dominators had plenty of duds in the loss. They were brought down by seven underperformers, the worst of whom was Deebo Samuel (zero points). On the coaching front, both sides made mistakes this week. Although their team won, Coach Yarger didn't have the best game personally. Perhaps scared off by Derrick Henry's 2 point performance last week, Coach Yarger left him on the bench in favor of Ezekiel Elliott, despite the experts' prediction that Henry should have played. This terrible decision took a 27 point chunk out of Mad Mudders' final score, which ultimately didn't make a difference in the final outcome. It does mark the first time this year that Coach Yarger's decisions have cost their team points. As for Coach Helm, he went Mike Evans over the higher ranked Najee Harris. This decision cost The Dominators a total of 6 points. Coach Helm's decisions this week cost him his title as the best gameday coach in the league (Coach Brent Knudson wears the crown now). Predictions: Mudders by 1 Both teams put up big points in week 3, this one could be a high scoring game. QBs: Dak VS Josh Allen, Dak is playing the Patriots while Josh is playing Miami. RBs: Harris & Robinson VS Mostert & Henry, is Derrick still a starting RB in this league? Only scored 2 points last week. WRs: Cooper Aiyuk VS Samuel & Adams, is Samuel going to play in this one, the same can be said for Aiyuk. TEs: Goedert VS Engram, unless you have Kelce, all you can hope for is 5-6 points from this position. |
