Demolition Derby
Juggernauts 137 VS Dominators 56 66 points from C.J. Stroud lead Juggernauts in huge blowout 'We can build on this.' Juggernauts, who stumbled into week nine with the worst record in the league, better hope so. They took everything from The Dominators but the kitchen sink this week, winning 137 to 56. That 81 point win is the biggest blowout so far this season. The loss drops The Dominators to 4 – 5, and sinks them to the bottom of our internal power rankings. The win brings Juggernauts to 2 – 7. It's not that hard to win when you get the league's top performance for the season, and C.J. Stroud delivered that performance. Juggernauts relied heavily on C.J. Stroud, who totaled 66 points. Stroud overperformed his expectations by more than any other player. His 470 passing yards smashed the single-game passing-yard record for a rookie, previously held by Andrew Luck's 433 yard effort in 2012. Meanwhile, The Dominators really lost this game as a team. They were brought down by nine underperformers, the worst of whom was Tua Tagovailoa (16 points).1 This is the 2nd time this year that he was the worst starter on his team. He just can't keep pace with good teams: his 193 passing yards, 61.8 completion percentage and 5.7 yards per attempt were all season lows. Coach Dennis Helm's lineup wasn't any better than his players this week. He went with Dallas Goedert over the higher ranked Taysom Hill. This terrible decision cost The Dominators a total of 13 points. Coach Helm's decisions this week cost him his title as the best gameday coach in the league (Coach Brent Knudson wears the crown now). Predictions: Dominators by 1 The bye week removes Williams and Lawerence from the Juggernauts. The Dominators lose no starters. QBs: Tua VS Stroud, Tua is playing at KC while Stroud is playing the Bucs. RBs: Barkley & Taylor VS Robinson & Kamara, Alvin has been fire since his return. Do we see Barkley and Taylor produce at a high level this week? WRs: Evans & Adams VS Sutton & London, the two WRs could change depending on matchups. I see no reason why the Dominators would bench either of their WRs. TEs Goedert VS Andrews, too solid TEs that are capable of scoring a TD. |
