Charles Bahringer -VS- Sam Zarr |
Command and Conquer
Results: Rookie 119 VS Juggernauts 97 Tyler Bass calls his own number to earn a win Coach Charles Bahringer picked a bad week to make a bad lineup. He left Noah Brown in the lineup, despite the fact that he was a guaranteed zero points. That cost his team 28 points, which cost his team the game as Juggernauts (2 – 9) could not make it much of a game, losing to The Rookie (6 – 5) 119 to 97. The bottom part of Coach Sam Zarr's draft came through for them this week. Tyler Bass scored 17 points, while Brock Purdy scored 38. Purdy overperformed his expectations by more than any other player. Incredible passes like this made him the first 49ers QB to post a perfect passer rating since Joe Montana in 1989. Meanwhile, the loss for Juggernauts came down to a pretty simple factor: they didn't go anywhere. Collectively, they only managed to gain 175 yards rushing and receiving. That's the worst result that any team this season has had in the total yards category. The schedule for Juggernauts brings Team Up Honor around next week. Juggernauts have now been the favorite in both their last two games, and failed to perform both times. The experts might not give them the benefit of the doubt in their next one. The Rookie's next game will be against Da Yoopers in a rematch from week five. The Rookie ended up getting crushed in the previous matchup by 58 points. Coach Zarr will no doubt be worried that Travis Etienne will drop another 34 points for Da Yoopers like he did last time. Predictions: Juggernauts by 1 Both teams hoep for some better health to their players, been a tough injury season. The bye week removes Taylor and London from the 'Nauts while the Rookie lose no starters. QBs: Burrow VS Stroud, I am assuming CJ gets the start once again this week. CJ is playing the Cardinals at home while Joe is at Baltimore. RBs; McCaffrey & Dillon VS Barkley & Ford, Chrisitan was quiet with only 13 points last week but so was Barkley with 6, which back bounces back? WRs: Sutton & McLaurin VS Doubs & Thilen, Justin Jefferson is close to coming back, but I don't thnk that happens this week. |
