Week # 1 Results: |
Charles Bahringer -VS- Sam Zarr |
No Dice
Results: The Cowboys Defense/ST's 43 points are 8 points too few against The Rookie The Rookie had to be wary coming into this game after losing both matches against Juggernauts last season. Thankfully for Coach Sam Zarr, the past was not prelude. The Rookie slid by Juggernauts, winning 101 to 93. No big surprise seeing The Rookie get the win, as they were the biggest favorite of any team this week. The Rookie had almost all of their firepower going off during the early Sunday slate, and they got Coach Zarr's squad off to a solid start. Christian McCaffrey drove the bus, scoring 28 points. McCaffrey wasted no time getting on the highlight reel this season by scoring this unstoppable 65-yard touchdown. Meanwhile, Coach Charles Bahringer's squad just couldn't quite get it going. Drake London and Tee Higgins both did poorly, together coming up with zero points. Higgins failed to work out a contract extension with Cincinnati before the season, a fact he's probably regretting even more after missing all eight of his targets on Sunday. Going into the Sunday late games, Juggernauts were already a long shot to win. After Quentin Johnston scored zero points it was all she wrote. A terrific performance for Juggernauts by the Cowboys Defense/ST on Sunday night was not enough for a comeback. Predictions: Rookie by 1 Both teams missed the playoff last season and come from the North Division. Once again, a rivalry game to open the season. The Rookies are led by QB Joe Burrow as he takes on the Browns. The Juggernauts hope QB Trevor Lawerance conitnues to play well this season as he takes on the Colts in Indy. RBs: Chibb & Barkley VS McCaffrey & Dobbins, other than Dobbins these RBs were kept this year and with good reason. Christian is playing the Steelers in Pitsburgh while Barkley is home against the Cowboys. WRs: Higgins & Watson VS Smith & Jefferson, Justin is playing the Bucs in Tampa while Watson is on the road against the Bears. Who opens the season with a win? |
