Results:Nothing 112 VS Yoopers 98 That's All FolksDa Yoopers' run ends with a loss to the Eagles Defense/ST and Here Goes Nothing Da Yoopers came into this week's match-up on a five-game win streak, but Here Goes Nothing put an end to that, winning 112 to 98. The win is part of a larger trend for Here Goes Nothing. In each of the last three weeks they have scored more points than the week before. Here Goes Nothing have now won three games in a row, which brings their record to 11 – 4. The loss drops Da Yoopers' record to 9 – 7. Here Goes Nothing won with a balanced effort, as six players outperformed their positional averages. The Eagles Defense/ST was the first among equals, totaling 24 points. That's the most points that they've scored this year. The Eagles' performance this week also stopped their three game streak of not meeting the league average. Coach Kyle Kuopus had to be extra disappointed in certain underperformers this week. Otherwise high performing players Justin Herbert and George Kittle combined to score 19 points. Both teams face trouble in the upcoming schedule. Next week will see Here Goes Nothing taking on the 9 – 6 Mad Mudders. Here Goes Nothing might need a big game to win that matchup, as Mad Mudders comes into the game fresh off a 146 point performance. These two teams squared off in week eight, when Here Goes Nothing ended up getting crushed by 47 points. Next week will feature a mirror image matchup when the 9 – 7 Da Yoopers take on the 9 – 7 Lady Cougars. Lady Cougars brings in the best player in the league over the past three weeks: Josh Allen. Predictions: Nothing by 1 These two teams squared off last season in the championship game, this year they square off to decide who gets to face the winner of the South semi-finals game. During the regular season the Nothing won both games by a combined 64 points, which team earns a second straight championship game appearance? QBs: Murray VS Herbert, Murray tries to get the Cardinals off a losing streak as they play the Colts on Christmas in Arizona while Justin is at Houston. RBs: Stevenson & Penny VS Robinson & Conner, with Meyer out of Jacksonville it looks Robinson will get more carries. Stevenson struggled last week does he get the nod again and the hope the Pats try to use him to run over the Bills? Other top weapons are Adams & ChaseVS Samuel & Diggs, Chase has been really quiet as the Benglas struggles over the last few weeks. Samuel takes on the Titans on Thursday night. These are two really good teams that could have been a championship game, but we shall see if the Yoopers can avenge last season's championship game loss and knock off the defending champ. |
