Week # 1 Results: |
Andy Lisowski -VS- Patrick ODell |
Lineup Nirvana
Results: Coach Lisowski earned a perfect lineup and Austin Ekeler gave a big performance Team Up Honor took Not Dead Yet out of the playoffs last year, and went ahead and rubbed some salt in that wound this week. They demolished Not Dead Yet, winning 102 to 59. That 43 point margin was the biggest gap between any two teams this week. Team Up Honor won with a balanced effort, as five players outperformed their positional averages. Austin Ekeler was the best of the bunch, notching 21 points. Ekeler rushed for 117 yards and a score on Sunday, but the impressive outing now has him listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Meanwhile, Not Dead Yet had many underperformers, but Lamar Jackson stood out, posting only 7 points.1 Despite promises of a more pass-heavy approach this season, Jackson was limited through the air on Sunday, completing just 17 passes for 169 yards and no touchdowns. On the coaching front, Coach Andy Lisowski followed the experts' advice for each position this week and ended up with a perfect lineup. He was the only coach this week to pull that off. Predictions: Honor by 1 A rematch from last season's championship game. Can the Honor continue to just iwn football games. Did the Dead improve enought in the draft to defeat their top rival. While last season these teams used bench players at QB, in this game the Honor get to use Jalen Hurts while the Dead use Lamar Jackson. We shall see how Lamar performs this year after his maassive contract was signed. Lamar is home againt the Texans. Jalen is looking to bounce back from his Super Bowl loss as he takes on the Patriots in New England. Rbs: Mixon & Stevenson VS Eckler & Williams, simply amazing that Javonte can walk let along play this week after he tore ligaments in his knee. WRs: St. Brown & Olave VS Moore & Pickens, St. Brown should see a ton of balls thrown his way as he takes on the Chielfs. Pickens had a solid rookie season but is looking to elevate his game even higher this year. He plays the 49ers at home. Until someone can prove that they can beat the Honor, I have to go with the defending champ. |
