Results: Justin Herbert helps Here Goes Nothing win a 2 point game over Team Up Honor This matchup was a heat check for both these squads. Here Goes Nothing came into the game on a four game winning streak, while Team Up Honor had scored the most points of any team over the last three weeks. Here Goes Nothing were the team that rose up to the challenge. Here Goes Nothing sneaked past Team Up Honor, winning 96 to 94. With the win, Here Goes Nothing moved to 8 – 3, good for the top spot in the North division. The loss drops Team Up Honor back below .500 at 5 – 6. Here Goes Nothing were led by the trio of Justin Herbert, Dalton Schultz, and D'Andre Swift, who combined for 69% of their team's points. Herbert's performance paced Here Goes Nothing for the 2nd time this year. With receivers dropping passes left and right, he had to gain some ground himself with this 28-yard dash, his longest run since 2021. Meanwhile, Coach Andy Lisowski will find no easy scapegoat for this week's loss. Team Up Honor had five underperformers, with Jalen Hurts (21 points) being the worst.1 Hurts' 21 point performance was worse than every other quarterback this week. He has now been the worst performer on Team Up Honor more times than any other player. Although one coach got the win, neither coach distinguished themselves with their roster choices. Although their team won, Coach Brent Knudson didn't have the best game personally. They left Isiah Pacheco and his 10.6 expected points on the bench, favoring Keaton Mitchell (7.4 points expected). This decision shaved 5 points from Here Goes Nothing's score, which almost cost Coach Knudson's team the game. Coach Knudson's decisions this week cost them their title as the best gameday coach in the league (Coach Dennis Helm wears the crown now). Coach Lisowski has to place a big part of the blame for this loss on himself. He started two players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. One of those picks, Jalen Hurts, worked out. The other pick, Javonte Williams, did not. While these moves were somewhat defensible, they cost Team Up Honor a total of 20 points, which ended up costing them the game. Coach Lisowski might want to draw a lesson from what happened, as his team has a much better record when he follows the experts' opinions on who to start. Predictions: Nothing by 1 A good batle between North division foes, The bye week removes Pittman and Gay from the Nohing, while the Honor lose no starters. QB: Hurts VS Herbert, I am assuming Jalen gets the start, but Howell has been putting up some big numbers as of late. Justin is playing the Packers in Green Bay while Jalen is at KC. RBs: Eckler & White VS Swift & Pacheco, both backs on the Nothing were off last week. Eckler has been heating up and takes on a vulnerable Packers rush defense. WRs: Lamb & Chase VS Brown & Allen, all four WRs posted nice scores last week, can they do it again? This one could be the highest scoring game for the week. |
