Steve Pintar -VS- Sam Zarr |
Uh…Maybe Next Time
Results: Christian McCaffrey helps The Rookie win a laugher this week against Sack Attack Coach Sam Zarr might have been looking to rest their nerves a bit after last week's nailbiter. They got the rest, and the win. The Rookie (4 – 0) perfectly destroyed Sack Attack (1 – 3), winning 140 to 73. The 67 point margin that separated these teams represents the biggest blowout of the season so far. The game leaves both these teams streaking in opposite directions. The victory makes it four in a row for The Rookie. The loss makes it three in a row for Sack Attack. Christian McCaffrey was expected to be the top performing RB this week, and that's exactly what he was. Run CMC was a one-man wrecking crew, producing 44 points. His performance late on Sunday took him from the 3rd best player to the best player in the league. There was no stopping him on Sunday: he lept over defenders to post four total touchdowns. Meanwhile, Geno Smith was the main culprit in Sack Attack's loss, managing only 10 points.2 That performance was worse than every other player this week.1 Coach Steve Pintar's lineup matched the poor performance of his team. He started Smith instead of Justin Fields, despite the experts' prediction that Fields should have played. This decision shaved 33 points from Sack Attack's score. It also made Coach Pintar the worst performing gameday coach this week. Predictions: Rookie by 1 The Rookie has been putting up some big numbers all season, can he do it again in week 4? QBs: Watson or Fields VS Purdy or Burrow, who starts at the QB position for both teams? Justin has been awful all season, does he get one more start? Does Purdy get another start or do they go back to Joe? RBs: Walker & Pollard VS McCaffrey & Williams, can anyone slow down Christian this season? WRs: Jefferson & Smith VS Hill & Nacua, both teams have some skilled WRs, two of the best square off in Hll and Jefferson. TEs: Waller VS Hockenson, I keep waiting for Waller to do something in NY, while TJ looks like an All-Pro this season. |
