Sam Zarr -VS- Andy Lisowski |
Yep, That's It
Results: Honor 93 VS Rookie 91 Brock Purdy nets 12 points in loss to Team Up Honor Coach Sam Zarr have to be kicking themself for their lineup decisions this week. They left Joe Burrow and his 19.4 expected points on the bench, favoring Brock Purdy (16.2 points expected). This decision cost The Rookie a total of 5 points and cost them the game, as they suffered a 93 to 91 loss to Team Up Honor (3 – 3). Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Ravens Defense/ST were the key contributors for Team Up Honor, delivering 21 and 16 points, respectively. St. Brown's 21 points represent the most he's had this year (good timing, given the score). He bounced back from injury in a big way on Sunday, posting season-highs in targets (15), receptions (12), and yards (124). Meanwhile, The Rookie can place the blame for this loss squarely on Brock Purdy, who managed only 12 points.2 That was quite a falloff from last week, when he scored 43 points. It turns out he is human after all: in his first career loss, he passed for just 125 yards and threw his first pick of the season. Coach Zarr are probably happy with how their team has played so far this season, but they have to be concerned about their team's recent performance. The Rookie have now lost their last two games. Coach Zarr will have to hope things turn around in next week's matchup with Not Dead Yet. Not Dead Yet will get to start the league's hottest player in D.J. Moore. Meanwhile, Team Up Honor will collide with Here Goes Nothing next week. Predictions: Rookie by 1 Can the Rookie avoid a 2 game losing streak? Can the Honor get back to .500? The bye week removes no starters but keep an eye on the injury to Justin Jefferson. QBs: Hurts VS Purdy, Jalen is playing the NY Jets while Brock is going against the Browns. RBs: McCaffrey & Williams VS Eckler & McLaughlin, does Austin Eckler finally play after his bye week? Christian was kind of quiet last week, does have a monster game this week? WRs: Allen & Olave VS Jefferson & Thielen, Adam has been really solid down in Carolina, while Allen has been really good all season in LA. |
