Sabotage
Results: Attack 80 VS Dead 77 Lamar Jackson's terrible day helps sink Not Dead Yet Coming into the game, Sack Attack had scored the second most points of any team over the last three weeks. This week they didn't get much, but they got enough. They barely beat Not Dead Yet, winning 80 to 77 in the only close game this week. Sack Attack have averaged 88 points during their last two games – not what was expected of them as the highest scoring team going into week eight. With the win, They have now won four out of their last five games, bringing their record to 5 – 4. Not Dead Yet are now 5 – 4 after suffering their first back-to-back losses of the season. Sack Attack had two main stars in Cole Kmet and the Chiefs Defense/ST, who together racked up 40 points. Defenders simply weren't a problem for Kmet on Sunday, as can be seen in this incredible TD grab. Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson loomed large in the loss for Not Dead Yet, scoring 13 points.1 Coach Patrick O'Dell has to be used to bad scores from Jackson, who has been the worst performer on Not Dead Yet more times than any other player. Despite winning a 37-3 blowout, he relied on the run game and posted a modest 187 passing yards on Sunday. The strength of schedule diverges for these squads next week. Not Dead Yet was the hardest test Sack Attack will face for a while, as its next three games are against sub .500 teams, starting with Juggernauts next week. Sack Attack won't have Tyreek Hill available to start in that contest. Meanwhile, Not Dead Yet will be playing Here Goes Nothing next week. Bad timing for Not Dead Yet, as Here Goes Nothing will come into the matchup on a three game winning streak. Predictions: Dead by 1 The Attack can't beat the North division but are unbeaten against the South, does the trend continue? |
