Week # 6 Results: |
Patrick O’Dell -VS- Steve Pintar |
Results: Attack 131 VS Dead 109 Sack Attack gets boost from high draft picks like Joe Mixon After losing last week while scoring their lowest point total for the year, Coach Steve Pintar was no doubt looking for a solid performance from his squad this week. Well, Sack Attack responded, scoring their highest point total for the season. They earned a nice victory over Not Dead Yet, winning 131 to 109. The win evens up Sack Attack's record at 3 – 3. The loss drops Not Dead Yet's record to 2 – 4. Coach Pintar used early draft picks on Joe Mixon and DeAndre Hopkins, and they came through for him this week. Mixon scored 26 points, while Hopkins scored 20. Mixon's 26 points represent the most he's had this year. He couldn't have ran a simpler route and yet was wide open for this 40 yard touchdown reception. Meanwhile, Not Dead Yet suffered through poor performances from Antonio Gibson, Mike Williams, and Keenan Allen, who collectively managed only 11 points. Gibson's performance this week ended a three game streak of beating the experts' projections. Sack Attack will be going against Mad Mudders next week. That contest will be a rematch from week one, when Sack Attack lost 120 to 114. Meanwhile, Not Dead Yet will collide with Lady Cougars. Lady Cougars have been racking up the points recently, posting two straight 135+ point games. Hopefully, there won't be too many bye week players in the lineup, as it will feature the worst gameday coaches in the league so far. Predictions: The Attack have a banged up Harris but lose no bye week players while the Dead have a hurt Rusell Wilson, Cook, & Haris. Koo is also off this week for the Dead. QBs: Tannehill VS Cousins, if Russell can't go Kirk gets the start as he against Carolina. Ryan is home on Monday night against the Bills. RBs: Harris & Mixon VS Gibson & Cook/Mattison, if Dalvin can't go it is nice having Mattison ready to step in. Other top weapons are Hopkins VS Willimas, Mike had a huge 40 point game last week, can he repeat the peformance? |
