Patrick O’Dell -VS- Dwight Yarger |
Results: Mudders 103 VS Dead 87 Rob Gronkowski's 12 points help get Mad Mudders back on track Coach Dwight Yarger may have forgotten what it was like to win after losing three straight. Not Dead Yet were friendly enough to remind them. Mad Mudders ended up on top against Not Dead Yet, winning 103 to 87. The loss drops Not Dead Yet to 3 – 9, and sinks them to the bottom of our internal power rankings. The win brings Mad Mudders to 8 – 4. Mad Mudders had never lost when Rob Gronkowski overperformed his expectations, and that held true again this week. Gronk led a very balanced group of six overperformers for Mad Mudders, notching 12 points.2 Meanwhile, Not Dead Yet had a very balanced lineup, but it was balanced at too low of a level. Mike Williams was the 'worst' player, scoring 3, while Jared Cook was the best on the team with 11.2 Williams' 3 point performance made him the worst performer on Not Dead Yet for the first time this year. Coach Patrick O'Dell's gameday decisions have been the worst in the league this season, and this week showed why. He left Antonio Gibson and his 10.2 expected points on the bench, favoring Alexander Mattison (5.8 points expected). This decision took a 8 point chunk out of Not Dead Yet's final score, which ultimately didn't make a difference in the final outcome. It did mark the 3rd straight week where Coach O'Dell has cost his team points. Predictions: Mudders by 1 The Mudders need a win to get a South division title while the Dead are playing the role of spoiler in this one. The bye week removes Tyreek Hill from the Mudders while the Deas lose no starters this week. QBs: Cousins VS Rodgers, these two battled on Sunday in Minnesota now they battle on the Fantasy week #12. RBs: Elliott & Collins VS Cook & Gibson, we shall see if Zeke can play on a short week as he is listed as questionable which would be a tough blow as the Raiders run defense is less than ideal. Other top weapons are Kupp VS Mike Williams, we saw on Sunday night how good Mike can play in LA. The Mudders welcome back Kupp to his lineup after his bye week. |
