Results: Mudders 125 VS Dead 121 Calvin Ridley's 26 points sinks Not Dead Yet Mad Mudders had gotten terrible production out their wide receivers this season (3rd worst in the league), but this week it was a whole different story. Mad Mudders used a big game from their wide receivers to take down Not Dead Yet 125 to 121. Brandon Aiyuk scored 27 points, and Calvin Ridley was close behind with 26. Aiyuk's 27 points were the most that any wide receiver collected this week. Mad Mudders also got a big effort from Josh Allen (17.2 points above expected). Thanks to this five-yard touchdown pass, Allen now has a touchdown in 19 consecutive games, a Bills record. Meanwhile, George Pickens and Riley Patterson were both working off the same playbook this week, notching only 3 points for Not Dead Yet. Bad performances are pretty common these days for Pickens, who has now underperformed the experts' predictions in three straight games. In most other games, Not Dead Yet's seven overperforming players (led by D.J. Moore, 18 points) would have brought home a win.2 It's just another day at the office for Moore, who has led Not Dead Yet more times than any other player. The win brings Mad Mudders' record to 5 – 6, while dropping Not Dead Yet to an identical 5 – 6. Predictions: Mudders by 1 The Mudders lose Moss and Saints defense this week while the Dead lose Koo and TE Smith. QBs: Jackson VS Allen, Lamar is playing the Bengals at home while Josh is playing the Jets. RBs: Henry & Mostert VS Robinson & Montgomery, Raheem is back from his bye week, so I am assuming he gets the start. WRs: Pickens & Moore VS Lockett & Aiyuk, DJ Moore keeps seeing his scoring totals decline with the absence of Justin Fields. Does he play soon? I like the Mudders in a close game, but it could be low scoing as both QBs face a good defense. |
