Week # 10 Results: |
Laurie LeBoeuf -VS- Kyle Kuopus |
Results: Cougars 96 VS Yoopers 88 CeeDee Lamb and Lady Cougars stay hot against Da Yoopers Coming into the game, Lady Cougars had scored the second most points of any team over the last three weeks. They didn't knock it out of the park this week, but that wasn't necessary. Coach Laurie Leboeuf's squad made it past Da Yoopers, winning 96 to 88. With the win, Lady Cougars continues their five-game streak of success, which brings their record to 5 – 5. The loss drops Da Yoopers' record to 4 – 6. CeeDee Lamb separated himself from the rest of the crew on Lady Cougars, recording 25 points.1 A good performance by Lamb has been crucial for Lady Cougars all year, as they have gone 3 – 1 when he exceeds expectations, and 0 – 3 when he doesn't. With 94 receiving yards and two touchdowns, CeeDee Lamb became the first Cowboy reciever to ever go for 1,500+ yards and 10+ TDs in his first 25 games. There were plenty of chefs cooking up this week's loss for Da Yoopers. They were brought down by six underperformers, the worst of whom was Justin Herbert (13 points).2 Herbert hopefully has some credit left over from last week's 34 point performance. Next week will feature a mirror image matchup as the 5 – 5 Lady Cougars will take on the 5 – 5 Dominators. That contest will be a rematch from week five, when Lady Cougars lost 161 to 149. As for Da Yoopers, they will square off against Mad Mudders. Mad Mudders will have to play without Cooper Kupp, who has a bye week next week. Predictions: Cougars by 1 There is no hotter team in the SEBFL than the Cougars are, having won 4 straight and are in the hunt for a playoff spot. The Yoopers are tied with Laurie so this is a must-win game for both teams. Bye week players are None for both teams. QBS; Allen VS Herbert, hard ot believe that these two QBs have been playing average football the last few weeks. Allen scored 11 while Herbert bounced back with 34, which QB has a better week can set the tone for the entire team. RBs: Taylor & Gaskin VS Williams & ??? the Yoopers are really hurt at the RB position with Edmonds and Henry both hurt. Other top wepaons are George Kittle VS Patrick, we saw Kittle return from his injury and he scored 16 points while Tim Patrick found the end zone with 20 points. |
