Week # 10 Results: |
Larry Knepel -VS- Steve Pintar |
Results: Leakers 130 VS Attack 62 The RBs come up huge. “Willie Parker and Steven Jackson turned a close game into a blow out for us. This was a complete and total team win, we got good production from the backs and my WRs of Walker and Wayne played solid for us. This win puts us in a solid spot for the playoffs but more importantly for the division title. We turned a season that started poorly into a solid season. I also knew we would be competitive if we got solid QB numbers and that is finally happening. Next week we look for another win when we play the Twins. They are slumping as of late, so hopefully we can continue their slide for another week”, said the pumping his fist Coach Knepel. “My season is more or less over. I am realistic and after this 5 game losing streak we are in no shape a playoff bound team. We had a couple good weeks of scoring, yet we always found a way to lose. This week we didn’t even make it close. I simply started the wrong players this week. Eli Manning has been a terrible starter over the past few weeks and that continued once again this week. It has been a frustrating season and this loss only puts the nail in the coffin. Next week we play the Juggernaughts, I never like playing the role of the spoiler but I have that role next week”, said the bummed about the season Coach Pintar. Predictions: Leakers by 1. The Leakers suddenly are among the hottest teams in the league. Two weeks of scoring the most points in the league and are now a top the South Division. I like the Leakers if this one if the QBs can continue to score a decent amount of points. The Attack are a better scoring team the past few weeks, they need this game if they want to earn a playoff berth. |
