Week # 2 Results: |
Larry Knepel -VS- Phil Hinman |
Results: Phollies 104 VS Leakers 95 Frank Gore, Mr. Dependable. “I am not sure if Frank Gore is the next best young RB, but he has been impressive thus far. I am impressed with how well he can catch and run. I would be 0-2 if it wasn’t for him. We had a close game against the Leakers but I am glad the Jacksonville defense shut down Willie Parker. Next week we look to make 2-1 against the Daddies with Steve Wayne as the newest member of the league. I am hoping to keep him winless, and in the end it hels me out”, said the hopeful Coach Hinman. “We are 0-2 but luckily for me the division is just as bad. I see that everybody in the division lost this week to the North division. We must be the loser division. Other than my Raven defense the rest of the team was average at best. Where has Jake Plummer gone? Another disappointing game. Next week we play the Mudders with him missing Tomlinson this is the game we have to beat them if not we are 0-3 and in desperate shape”, said the concerned Coach Knepel. Predictions: Phollies by 1 The Phollies and Leakers had a tough start to the 2006 season. Both teams hope to avoid that dreaded 0-2 start. Matchups worthwhile watching: Hasselbeck, T. Barber & Gates VS Plummer, Jackson and Wayne. If Plummer plays like he did last week, he will be a spectator instead of starting QB in Denver. The Phollies need more production from Walker and Curtis. |
