Dennis Helm -VS- Bob Vanderpoel |
Results: Twins 110 VS Dominators 74 The Pittsburgh Thursday scoring night. “Wow, in a matter of 5 minutes I broke open a very close game wide open. I got my huge TD from Heath Miller and then Culpepper was picked off by my Steelers defense and scored a TD. That was the turning point to this win. We are off to a good start especially when we scored 110 points. Even though we are off to a good start we have room for improvement mostly at my WR position; 12 points usually don’t win you games. Next week we play necomer Steve Wayne. I hope I can knock the newbie down and show him how the veterans of the league play”, said the happy Coach Vanderpoel. “This was a tough loss and to make matters worse the Twins are a divisional foe. Now they have a possible tie breaker come playoff time. I was dissapointed in three players this week: Culpepper, Droughns and Galloway. A total of 8 points from those three players; it is no surprise that we lost. Next week we play the Not Dead Yet, they look like a rebuilt team as they pulled off a 7 point win. I hope to give them loss number one of the season so I can walk around the office with a smile on my face. Just as I beat him on the golf course I will beat him in my fantasy life as well”, said the gunning for win number 1 Coach Helm. Predictions: The Twins had three players kept in Steve Smith, Peyton Manning and Ronnie Brown, plus they added Dillon and Jackson. They hope to knock off the Dominators who will compete with Rudi Johnson, Droughns, Culpepper, Chamber and Burress. The biggest challenge for the Dominators this week is the tough matchup of Culpepper VS Pittsburgh. I like the Twins in this divisional game. |
