Week # 3 Results: |
Charles Bahringer -VS- Andy Lisowski |
Results: Honor 128 VS Juggernaughts 99 Clinton Portis welcome back. “We got a huge boost to the team when we got Clinton back from his shoulder injury. I was concerned when I heard reports that he re-injured his shoulder early in the game, but he came back and boy did he come back. We are now 2-1 and rebounding nicely after our loss in the first week of the season. The team is starting to click and with Portis back I am even that much better. Next week we play the Twins, they are undefeated, a division foe, if this team can’t get fired up for next week’s game than I shouldn’t be coaching this team”, said fired up Coach Lisowski. “We got beat by a solid football team today, I don’t sugar coat win or losses, and I won’t start now. I only wish I had my Larry Johnson today especially when we are playing a solid team like the Honor. This loss puts us below .500 but last season we struggled early only to rebound and well I don’t need to remind you what happened next. Next week we play the Attack, they had a nice week last week, but they don’t have Eli so we catch a break. I only hope Favre doesn’t go off on us on Monday night”, said the hoping for a win Coach Bahringer. Predictions: Honor by 1 The biggest loss due to the bye weeks is Larry Johnson. That leaves the Juggernaughts to use either Thomas Jones or DeAngelo Williams. The Honor lose Lamont Jordan but have to hope that Clinton Portis will be back to his usual starting RB spot. McNabb is putting up MVP-like numbers thus far. |
