Follow the LeaderResults: The Jets Defense/ST helps deliver a win for Da Yoopers Da Yoopers finished last season with the best record and just kept on rolling this week. They wound up with a solid victory margin against Here Goes Nothing, winning 107 to 97. Just another good result from the leagues' all-time leader in winning percentage. Da Yoopers got a nice group performance in the win, as five players beat their positional averages. The Jets Defense/ST was the first among equals, producing 25 points.2 The Jets topped all but one Defense/ST this week with that performance. Meanwhile, while balance might be good for gymnasts, it didn't help Here Goes Nothing this week. Jake Elliott paced the team by beating the average kicker by 9.9 points, while Ja'Marr Chase (4.9 points worse than the average wide receiver) was the worst on the team. These teams will see a difference in the quality of their upcoming opponents. Da Yoopers will be going against Sack Attack next week. Sack Attack might present a challenge, having posted the highest score this week. As for Here Goes Nothing, they will match up with The Dominators. The Dominators not only lost this week, but tied for scoring fewer points than any other team. Predictions: Nothing by 1 Both teams were playoff teams last seasom and come from the North. Nothing like a rivalry game to open the season. The Nothing will use Justin Herbert against the Dolhins while the Yoopers counter with Kirk Cousin and the Vikings take on the Bucs. RBs: Mattison & Sanders VS Pierce & Etienne, the Yoopers go with two backs who looks to improve on their success from last season. Milles Sanders moves from Phily to take over the backf field in Carolina. WRs: Brown & Chase VS Diggs & Wilson, both teams uses first first and second round picks on the WR position. Two evenly matched teams that could come down to the kicker or a special teams score to decide this one. |
