Week # 2 Results: |
Brent Knudson -VS- Dwight Yarger |
Results: Mudders 132 VS Nothing 130 Cooper Kupp's 34 points were too much for Here Goes Nothing After last week's blowout, Here Goes Nothing got a big change of pace with this week's tight contest versus Mad Mudders. They lost a heartbreaker against Mad Mudders, 132 to 130. It was a brutally unlucky loss for Here Goes Nothing, who would have won EVERY other game being played this week. The loss drops Here Goes Nothing's record to 1 – 1, while the win brings Mad Mudders to 2 – 0. Mad Mudders relied heavily on Cooper Kupp, who racked up 34 points.1 That performance was good for 3rd place among all players this week.4 He was the definition of 'OPEN' on this all-too-easy score. Mad Mudders also got the 2nd highest tight end score this week via Rob Gronkowski, who scored 18 points. Coach Dwight Yarger's squad overcame poor performances from Tyreek Hill and the 49ers Defense/ST (2 points each) in getting this win. Hill hopefully has some credit left over from last week's 31 point performance. Meanwhile, Here Goes Nothing had many underperformers, but DeVonta Smith stood out, tallying only 1 point. In most other games, Here Goes Nothing's five overperforming players (led by Kyler Murray, 51 points) would have brought home a win. Murray's 51 point performance was the most that any quarterback collected this week. Predictions Both teams won last week, can the Mudders finally hand the Nothing a loss? QBs: Murray VS Rodgers, Aaron played as poorly as he ever did last week and the Mudders still won. I can't expect him to play this bad this week on Monday night. Murray looks like an MVP candidate with his 50 point performance. RBs: Robinson & Davis VS Mostert & Elliott, Mostert is hurt, so who gets the start? Other weapons are Tyreek Hill VS Admas, Tyreek played like a first round pick, while Adams was too quiet, does he bounce back this week? |
