Week # 7 Results: |
Bob Vanderpoel -VS- Phil Hinman |
Results: Twins 142 VS Phollies 87 Peyton Manning welcome back from the bye week. “We got a huge lift this week when Peyton came back. He is always such a huge competitor and plays at such a high level. We needed a big win to keep with the Honor and we got it. We also beat a fellow North Division team so we know we increased the room between us and them. This was a nice and solid win but in this league you have to forget about your Wins and losses and prepare for anothe tough game. Next week we play the Commish. They are struggling to score points, so hopefully that trend will continue and we can roll to an easy win”, said the smiling Coach Vanderpoel. “We never had a chance in this one. Peyton was, like Peyton. Any time the Twins get a hot Manning they are very tough to beat. Now I have to be concerned about Matt Hasselbeck, as he left this week’s game. On paper I still feel we have a team to compete against most teams in this league, but it seems like every week we find a new way to lose. I have the Juggernaughts to contend with in Week 8, they are the defending champs, we have to show that we belong in the post-season and get a W”, said the concerned Coach Hinman. Predictions: Twins by 1 Both teams come out of this week with only Frank Gore for the Phollies off. The Twins have to be happy to get back Peyton Manning this week, now he has to hope he begins to produce at his 49 TD record season, he has been awfully quiet this year. The Phollies are in the hunt of the playoff race and need this game against a division foe to enhance their hopes. |
