Andy Lisowski -VS- Dwight Yarger |
Results: Mudders 120 VS Honor 100 The Mudders open the season with a statement. “We wanted to prove to this league that last season was no fluke, so when I got the email from Andy talking about how great his team was I wanted to shut him up real quick. This is a team that WILL not finish in last place no matter what the pre-season might say. I am too damn good. Next week we look to make it 2-0 when we beat up on the Juggernaughts. They beat us last season in the championship game but it is payback time. They got the trouphy and I want revenge”, said the fired up Coach Yarger. “We got beat by a good team, not unbeatable by any means. It was unfortnate that my good game from McNabb had to be wasted in a loss. We need to get better production from defense, I never thought Tampa would only score 4 points, plus I need Todd Heap to have a bounce back week. We get Clinton Portis back and at the perfect time when we play the Commish. We have some history and I want to make them pay for beating me in 2004 in the championship game”, said the still holding a grudge Coach Lisowski. Predictions: The Honor look like they are ready to forget about last season. The additions of Portis, McNabb, Jordan, Boldin and Harrison make this a formiable opponent and our pre-season pick. The Mudders have three of the best players at their position in Brady, Tomlinson and Fitzgerald, they will be hoping Dunn, Glenn Crumpler can knock off the Honor in a divisional game. |
