Week 6 is in the history books, and we move to Week #7. This is the last week before we start our 2nd half to the 2023 season. Next week we will use the flex schedule. 1st place North VS 1st place South, etc.
Congrats to the following winning teams: Andy, Kyle, Steve, Dennis & Dwight.
Andy used his two LA Chargers to pull off the close 2-point win. Dwight was this week’s highest scoring team and cruised to a 13-point win. Dennis used his newly acquired Tua to earn a 2-point win. Steve was able to defeat Laurie despite losing Justin Fields for most of the game. Kyle was able to hold off Lamb and Herbert on Monday night to win by 14.

Our Past Glory Days:
We continue on looking back at our past champions. Thus far we have looked back at Andy, Charles, Laurie, Dennis, and Brent. This week it is the Commish’s turn. He won his first league title in 2004 when he squared off against Andy in the Championship game. Steve was led by QB Daunte Culpepper who had Randy Moss to throw to in Minnesota. On the ground he used RB Jamal Lewis, but he struggled in 2004, after missing 4 games. Jamal was trying to follow-up on his 2003 season when he rushed for 2,000 yards. In upcoming weeks, I will look at our former owner’s glory days.
Results:
Attack 124 VS Honor 86
Culpepper helps led the Attack to the SEBFL Championship.
“Yessss”, said Coach Pintar as champagne is poured over his head. “This was a special win as it finally gave us that elusive championship. We have been in this league for almost 10 years so to finally taste success is a truly humble feeling. I want to say congrats to Dennis, Larry and especially to Andy for the kind of season they had. It is an honor to be called the SEBFL champ. I want to relish in this victory but shortly we will look at how we can repeat next year, we have Daunte and other to work with so we have some tools to work with. Until the 2005 season, enjoy the off-season.”
Leading the Attack to the championship were 32 from QB Daunte Culpepper and 22 from RB Jamal Lewis. The Honor were led to second place by 23 from RB Tiki Barber and 20 from WR Michael Clayton.
“We lost to a good team, I won’t take anything from them, they beat us twice this year and they put up some good amount of points against me. I only wish we had all of our weapons available to me like McNabb, James and Gates. But I don’t like to think about the what ifs etc. all I can do is come back next year and make it 4 years in a row in the championship game and next year we WILL win it all”, said Coach Lisowski.
Enjoy the upcoming weekend of football,
Steve
