Results: De'Von Achane drops 32 points in leading Da Yoopers to victory Coming into the game, Big Dog Sports had scored fewer points than anyone else in the last three weeks. No surprise then, they scored practically nothing this week. Da Yoopers made it look easy against Big Dog Sports, winning 111 to 60. Scoring 60 points dropped Big Dog Sports below Here Goes Nothing and into last place in points scored for the season. With the win, Da Yoopers moved to 3 – 2 – 1, good for the top spot in the North division. The loss drops Big Dog Sports' record to an identical 3 – 2 – 1. Da Yoopers relied heavily on De'Von Achane, who delivered 32 points. That's the most points that he's scored so far this year. Achane used his incredible top-line speed to turn this simple off-tackle run into a 49-yard touchdown. Rhamondre Stevenson stuck out as the worst performer for Big Dog Sports, dropping only 1 point.1 That performance was worse than every other player this week.3 He has now been the worst performing starter in the league over the last three weeks. Coach Thomas Schwanebeck might have had a little too much fun last week, as they didn't set their team's lineup. They started two guaranteed zeros in Kyler Murray and Quentin Johnston. That cost their team 27 points directly (plus whatever the waiver wire would have brought), which would have helped make the final score slightly less embarrassing. This is the first time this year that Coach Schwanebeck's decisions have cost their team points. Predictions: Yoopers by 1 The bye week removes Jefferason & Vikings defense from Yoppers while Sports lose kicker Reichard. QBs: Nix VS Murray, Bo is playing at NY Jets while Kyler is playing at Indy. RBs: Achane & Etienne VS Williams & Swift, I am assuming with Swift back from his bye week he gets the start. DeVon plays his second game without Hill in Miami. WRs: St. Bown & Godwin VS Adams & Johnston, the top WR on each is given start, the 2nd WR is a up in the air for both teams. |
