Cougars 68 VS Dead 66

Jonathan Taylor was tops on Lady Cougars in the win

Coach Patrick O'Dell has had the most stable lineup in the league, but that consistency wasn't helpful this week. He left DeVonta Smith in the lineup, despite the fact that he was a guaranteed zero points.

That cost his team 4 points, which cost his team the game as Not Dead Yet (4 – 3) lost a heartbreaker against Lady Cougars (2 – 5), 68 to 66.

Lady Cougars have been relying on Jonathan Taylor all year, and he came through again this week. Taylor teamed up with Drake London to put up 34 points.

Meanwhile, Not Dead Yet had plenty of duds in the loss. Jalen Coker was the worst of a seven man group of underperformers, racking up zero points.2 Coker has now underperformed the league average wide receiver in four straight games.

The strength of schedule diverges for these squads next week. Not Dead Yet's loss this week is especially bad as it represented the last easy game they will have for a while. The next three games are against winning teams, starting with Juggernauts next week. A tough game probably wouldn't have been a worry for the Not Dead Yet of two weeks ago, which had just finished winning their 3rd game in a row. Now, having lost their last two, it could be a different story.

Lady Cougars have a lucky matchup set for next week. They play Da Yoopers, a team currently on a four game losing skid. The game will be a rematch from week two, and Coach Laurie Leboeuf will no doubt be hoping that Josh Allen can drop 54 points like he did last time.
