Bucky Irving helps Da Yoopers end their 4 game losing streak

Coach Kyle Kuopus really needed someone to lend him a hand and help end his four game losing streak. Coach Laurie Leboeuf was only too happy to help. Da Yoopers skated by Lady Cougars pretty easily, winning 99 to 68. The win is more of the same for Da Yoopers, who won the last game with Lady Cougars by the score of 120 to 107.

The loss leaves Lady Cougars now with the worst record in the league at 2 – 6. The win brings Da Yoopers to 3 – 5.

Da Yoopers got three solid performances this week, courtesy of Bucky Irving, Trey McBride, and Jonah Coleman, who together produced 55 points. Good performances are nothing new for Irving, who has been the top performer on Da Yoopers more times than any other player. He took a quick stutter step before hitting the hole with authority for this touchdown.

Meanwhile, Lady Cougars suffered from two goose eggs, with Drake London and Keon Coleman failing to contribute anything. Coleman might be heading back to the waiver wire after getting picked up before this game.

Both teams face trouble in the upcoming schedule. Da Yoopers' next game will be against Team Up Honor in a rematch from week four. Da Yoopers ended up getting crushed in the previous matchup by 35 points. Team Up Honor will bring the league's top player so far, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, into the game.

Lady Cougars might really want to have this week's loss to an easy opponent back. The next two games are against winning teams, starting with Mad Mudders next week. Mad Mudders comes into the match on a four game winning streak.

Predictions: Cougars by 1

Bye Week players:  The Yoopers lose Brock Purdy & Alvin Kamara while the Cougars lose kicker Eddie Pineiro.

QBs: Stafford VS Allen, Matthew is playing the Chargrs at home while Josh is playing Baltimore at home.

RBs: Irving & Henderson VS Taylor & Dobbins, I am guessing Henderson will get the start otherwise, the Yoopers could go the waiver wire or Crorkey-Merritt.  The Cougars lose Skattebo but do have Taylor who is at Jacksonville.

WRs: St. Brown & Wilson VS London & Bernard, St. Brown is going up against the Vikings while Drake is playing at Tampa.
