Easy Does It
Mudders 141 VS Sports 76 James Cook III made it rain for Mad Mudders Coach Thomas Schwanebeck cost their team points last week, and did it again this week. They left Emeka Egbuka and his 7.4 expected points on the bench, favoring Chris Rodriguez Jr. (4.4 points expected). This decision took a 13 point chunk out of Big Dog Sports' final score, which–thankfully for Coach Schwanebeck–didn't matter much this game as they got clobbered by Mad Mudders (2 – 3), losing 141 to 76. Mad Mudders got a nice group performance in the win, as five players beat their positional averages. James Cook III was the first among equals, racking up 26 points.1 This is the 2nd time this year that Cook III has paced Mad Mudders. He simply would not be denied on this key 4th quarter touchdown run. Coach Schwanebeck put Chris Rodriguez Jr. into the Big Dog Sports lineup for the first time this week, but Rodriguez Jr. might want to keep his bench warming pants clean. Rodriguez Jr. was clearly the weakest link for Coach Schwanebeck and the gang as he dropped zero points. That made him the worst starter this week. Coach Schwanebeck are still waiting to get one above-average week from him. Big Dog Sports' next game will be against Team Up Honor in a rematch from week one. Big Dog Sports lost the previous matchup 146 to 132. Coach Schwanebeck will no doubt be hoping that Jalen Hurts can drop 39 points like he did when they last went against Team Up Honor. Meanwhile, Mad Mudders will be playing Not Dead Yet next week. Bad timing for Mad Mudders, as Not Dead Yet will come into the matchup on a three game winning streak. Adding to the difficulty, Mad Mudders will have to put their quarterback depth to the test in that one, as Jared Goff has his bye week. Predictions: Mudders by 1 Bye week players: Travis Kelce is lost for the Mudders while Sports lose Rice & Walker. QBs: Goff VS Hurts, Jared is playing at Arizona while Jalen is playing in London against Jacksonville. RBs: .Henry & Cook VS Williams & Monangai, Derrick is playing at Atlanta while Kyren is playing the Bills at home on Monday night. With Walker off, why not start the Bears RB of Kyle, after his huge week 4. WRs: Nabers & Higgins VS Flowers & Egbuka, Malik had a big week 4, can he do it again this time at Washington. Zay is playing at Atlanta on Sunday night. |
