Results: Javonte Williams and Not Dead Yet set the league's low point mark Sometimes you eat the bar, and sometimes the bar eats you. After scoring their highest point total for the year last week, Not Dead Yet scored their lowest total this week. They could not make it much of a game, losing to Sack Attack 88 to 59. In addition to losing the game, Coach Patrick O'Dell had the distinction of posting the worst score in the league so far this season. The loss drops Not Dead Yet to 1 – 5, and sinks them to the bottom of our internal power rankings. Sack Attack now have the best record in the league at 5 – 1. Cam Skattebo was the key contributor for Sack Attack, tallying 28 points. This is the 1st time this year that Skattebo has paced Sack Attack. He punched in three touchdowns without ever once being stopped by the Eagle's defense. Meanwhile, Not Dead Yet had plenty of duds in the loss. They were brought down by eight underperformers, the worst of whom was Javonte Williams (2 points).1 That's the fewest points that he's scored so far this year. Someone will finally get relief next week when Not Dead Yet and Mad Mudders clash, as they each come into the game on three game losing streaks. These two teams squared off in week one, when Not Dead Yet ended up getting crushed by 40 points. Meanwhile, Sack Attack will take on Here Goes Nothing. Sack Attack will have to put their quarterback depth to the test in that one, as Lamar Jackson has his bye week. Predictions: Dead by 1 The bye week removes kicker Fairbairn from Attack and Nico Collins from Dead. QBs: Love VS Goff, Jordan most likely gets the start as he takes on the Bengals while Goff is at KC. RBs: Barkley & Williams Gibbs & Skattebo, Javonte had a big game last week does he do it again? WRs: Sutton & Coleman?? VS Harrison and Puka, with Collins off this week does Coleman get the start? |
