Attack 146 VS Cougars 87

George Pickens takes control of the game as Sack Attack wins

Lady Cougars are tops in the waiver order, which is good…cause it looks like they might need some help. They suffered a huge loss to Sack Attack, going down 146 to 87. Lady Cougars have now failed to hit the league average point total in three straight games.

This loss brings Lady Cougars' losing streak to five in a row, dropping their record to 0 – 5. The win brings Sack Attack to 3 – 2.

Sack Attack had plenty of players step up in the win, as six starters beat their positional averages. George Pickens was just a bit ahead of the others, posting 22 points. Pickens was not happy during the Cowboys' shocking TNF loss to the Bucs.

Meanwhile, Coach Laurie Leboeuf will have a hard time pinning the blame for this loss on any particular player. Lady Cougars were brought down by six underperformers, the worst of whom was Jaylen Waddle (1 point). This is the 1st time this year that he was the worst starter on his team.

On the coaching front, the difference in tactical skill showed this week. Coach Steve Pintar earned his team points last week, and decided that he wanted extra points this week as well. He started Ollie Gordon II instead of David Montgomery, despite the experts' prediction that Montgomery should have played.

This decision netted Coach Pintar an extra 13 points, which just made the final result that much more embarrassing. Coach Pintar ought to take a lesson from the fact that taking risks worked out this week. His team has a much better record when he bucks the experts' advice for at least one player

Coach Leboeuf's lineup matched the poor performance of her team. She went with Jaylen Waddle over the higher ranked J.K. Dobbins.

This decision shaved 11 points from Lady Cougars' score. After her decisions this week, Coach Leboeuf has now cost her team points for the season (7 points worse than the experts).
