Cougars 93 VS Nothing 86

Jonathan Taylor scores 35 points to help put away Here Goes Nothing

Coach Laurie Leboeuf looked like she was trying to give away this game with her lineup decisions, but the team just wouldn't quit. Lady Cougars got past Here Goes Nothing, winning 93 to 86. The win brings Lady Cougars' record to 2 – 1, while dropping Here Goes Nothing to 0 – 2 – 1.

Lady Cougars relied heavily on Jonathan Taylor, who put up 35 points. No other running back scored more points than that this week. Two of his three touchdowns came from one yard away, but this one sure didn't.

CeeDee Lamb was expected to be the best WR this week, but ended up being the worst. Lamb and Dak Prescott combined to record 13 points for Here Goes Nothing. Lamb was injured on the Cowboys' first drive of the game before eventually being ruled out.

On the coaching front, this game showed how futile efforts can sometimes be. Although her team won, Coach Leboeuf didn't have the best game personally. She went with Romeo Doubs, Calvin Ridley, and Juwan Johnson over three more highly ranked players. Somehow, each of these decisions ended up being the wrong call. They cost Lady Cougars a total of 27 points, which–thankfully for Coach Leboeuf–didn't matter much this game.

As for Coach Knudson, they started Garrett Wilson instead of Drake London, despite the experts' prediction that London should have played. This decision boosted Here Goes Nothing's final score by 12 points. After their decisions this week, Coach Knudson's lineup moves are now a net-plus for the year (1 point better than the experts).

While the season has been a challenge thus far for both teams.  At least they come into this game pretty heatlhy.

QBs: Mayfield VS Herbert, Baker is playing the Jets at home while Justin is playing Denver at home.

RBs: Kamara & Sampson VS Pollard & ??, I am not sure who starts at the second RB position for the Nothing.  Does Sampspmn lose carries now that Judkins is playing?

WRs: Pittman & Smith VS Lamb & Wilson, does Deebo get the start for the Cougars?
