Results: Jahmyr Gibbs helps give Sack Attack an easy win this week Sack Attack came into the game as the biggest favorite this week and proceeded to make the experts look good. They stomped all over Big Dog Sports 136 to 93. Sack Attack improve to 8 – 2 after winning four out of their last five games. The loss drops Big Dog Sports' record to 5 – 4 – 1. After coming up with all of 2 points last week, Jahmyr Gibbs came up clutch this week. Gibbs made it rain for Sack Attack, tallying 47 points. That was the 2nd most of any player this week. He became just the fifth player with 40+ scrimmage TDs before the age of 24. While balance might be good for gymnasts, it didn't help Big Dog Sports this week. Kyren Williams paced the team by beating the average running back by 6.1 points, while Rashid Shaheed (7.7 points worse than the average wide receiver) was the worst on the team. Shaheed's 2 point performance made him the worst performer on Big Dog Sports for the first time this year. Both coaches in this game struggled with lineup decisions. Sack Attack won this game despite, rather than because of, Coach Steve Pintar's lineup moves. He started Lamar Jackson instead of Jared Goff, despite the experts' prediction that Goff should have played. This decision cost Sack Attack a total of 19 points, which–thankfully for Coach Pintar–didn't matter much this game. It does mark the first time this year that Coach Pintar's decisions have cost his team points. Coach Thomas Schwanebeck seem to have forgotten to set their lineup this week. They left Travis Kelce in the lineup, despite the fact that he had a bye week. They also left Rashid Shaheed in the lineup (Kyle Monangai would have been 6 points better). Unfortunately, bad decisions are nothing new to Coach Schwanebeck, whose lineup choices have been some of the worst in the league this season. Predictions: Attack by 1 Bye week players: No starters lost for Attack and the Sports lose Kelce. QBs: Rodgers VS Jackson, Aaron plays at LA Chargers while Lamar is playing at Minnesota. RBs: Monangai & Williams VS Gibbs & Judkinsm, we shall see what RB can be healthy enough to play for the Attack. The same with Sports, will Swift be playing this week? WRs: Adams & Johnston VS Olave & Nacua, is Puka playing this week? He left week 9 game with a rib injury. |
