Total Pickups: 10
Comments: The Mudders have bee10 n very active on the waiver wire this season with 10 pickups already this season. I call it I am retired and have more free time, so lets make Fantasy pickups. The team will use QB Josh Allen and he has been as good as prior seasons with 12 TDs and almost 1,500 yards passing. When Diggs was sent to Houston, myself included thought Josh would stumble this season, but that clearly didn’t happen. With Cooper joining the Bills, his second half should be even better. RBs are Derrick Henry, Aaron Jones and Travis Etienne. Derricks move to Baltimore has been a huge success with 8 TDs and 800+ yards, he should be on the Elite-9 team in 2024. Aaron Jones’s move to Minesota also was a good choice, he has 3 combined TDs and 600 combined yards. Travis on the other hand has taken a step back, the same could said for most players on Jacksonville. He has 2 TDs and 230 yards and is now losing carries to Tank Bigsby. WRs are Allan Lazard and Brian Thomas Jr, combined they have 9 TDs and 900+ yards through the air. The Jets are struggling this year but Allan has been a lone bright spot. The Mudders are 3-3-1 and cling to a half-game lead over the 3-4 teams for the final playoff spot. As you can see from above the weapons are at the QB and RB position. Can Devonta Smith bounce back to provide more scoring at the WR position to help this team earn more wins in the second half. Going 4-3 in the second half should earn the team a playoff spot. Go earn those 4 wins. Grade: C+ Keepers: Josh Allen & Derrick Henry Top 3 draft picks: Travis Etienne, Devonte Smith and Cooper Kupp, If the Jaquar’s are going to be a playoff spot, Travis will need to become a big part of the Jacksonville offense, whether that is catching or rushing for TDs. Smith plays opposite of AJ Brown, meaning as teams focus on stopping Brown, that should leave Smith with one-on-one matchups. Copper might be a steal in the 5th round. If he can stay healthy he will be targeted a lot in the Rams’ offense. According to reports, he is the healthiest he has been in a couple seasons. Overall: The Mudders look to earn another playoff spot in 2024. They took 6th place last season meaning he lost in the wildcard round. Lets see how he can earn a playoff spot but string some playoff wins to earn a berth to the championship game? QBs: Josh Allen and Aaron Rodgers, we might look back and can’t believe Rodgers was taken in the 12th round. Josh could be the #1 scoring QB this season. RBs: Henry, Etienne, Aaron Jones, & Singletary, these backs switched teams this season except for Travis. Will Henry thrive in Baltimore? Many expect that to happen. WRs: Smith, Kupp, Pickens, Agholor & Brian Thomas, the WRs are solid but lacks that true #1 wideout. Can Kupp become that type of WR? Other weapons are TEs Zach Ertz or Evan Engram, can Engram move up the TE list as a top 5 TE in 2025? The Mudders enter their 20th year in the SEBFL and are looking for their first league championship after they lost twice in the championship game, over the last two decades. CBS is predicting them not be a playoff team this year, lets see if they can prove the so-called “experts” wrong. CBS Draft Grade: C- Projected Points per week: 115.57 |

The Dominators ![]() Championship appearances: 5 Championships: 1 Division Titles: 6 Playoff Appearances: 19 2024 Year-End: 8-6 Record, 2nd place. Possible Keepers: Grade: A- Mid-Season record: 4-3 Top Players:
Total Pickups: 7
Comments: The Dominators are 4-3 entering the 2nd half, they would be a playoff team if the season was end today. Lets see how they earn even more wins to possibly take over the South division lead. QBs are Kirk Cousins or Dak Prescott, do they go with the hot hand based on matchups or will one of these QBs get hot and it would be a mistake not to start them? Kirk has 10/1,800 yards while Dak has 8/1,600 yards. RBs are Bijan Robinson, Josh Jacobs and a healthy Nick Chubb. Jacobs moved to Green Bay and has 1 rushing TD and 500+ yards, I would like that TD total to be higher. Robinson is starting to get hot over the last few weeks, he now has 4 TDs and 480 yards. We shall see if Nick Chubb can put up big numbers in Cleveland, my concern is the QB play has been awful in Cleveland. Now they lost Cooper in a trade and Watson is out for the year. Did Nick rehab for months to join this shit-show in Cleveland??? WRs are Stefon Diggs and Terry McLaurin, both WRs are having a nice season with new QBs throwing to them in Stroud and Daniels. Combined they have 7 TDs and 700+ yards. Other weapons are DK Metcalf, Kyle Pitts and DeAndre Hopkins who was recently added to the team. Can the Dominators go 4-3 or better in the second half and earn a possible division title? Having two decent QBs can be a curse, because that can lead to “I would have easily won if Dak or Kirk was starting, grr”. Grade: B- Keepers: Bijan Robinson Top 3 draft picks: Puka Nacua, Josh Jacobs & DK Metcalf. Puka come on strong during his rookie season in LA. He became a go-to target for Stafford and he thrived in Sean McVays’ offense. As long as he stays healthy, I expect him to put up 1,500 yards and 10 TDs this season. Jacobs moved from the Raiders to Green Bay, he should see plenty of carries and will he become a receiver in the Packers offense? DK is kind of under the radar WR in fantasy leagues, huge talent but just doesn’t get the attention that a Tyreek Hill, Lamb or Jefferson earn. Can he move up the WR draft board with a stellar 2024 campaign? Overall: The Dominators were the best team in the league 2023 but suffered a semi-final loss to the Attack but bounced back to take home 3rd place with a win over Sam Zarr. The loss must have been devasting as Sam decided not to return in 2024. Looking ahead to the upcoming season the Dominators will rely on QBs: Dak Prescott or Kirk Cousins, we shall see if the move to Atlanta will improve Kirk’s passing game. Dak has CeeDee to throw to, that in itself should be good for 15 TD passes. RBs: Robinson, Jacobs, Swift and Chubb, Nick will miss 5 games as he recovers from last season’s devasting knee injury, if he come back mid-season and provide top-5 back numbers, that would be a huge boost to this team. WRs are Nacua, Diggs, Metcalf and McLaurin, we shall see how the move to Houston does to Stefon’s numbers. Do they go up or down from past seasons? TEs: Pitts, can he finally live up to the hype as the next best TE in the NFL??? With Kirk, Robinson and Pitts on this team, the Dominators should be wearing a Falcons jersey at our Packer lunches at work. The Dominators look for championship #2 this season, CBS is predicting this team to earn a trip to the consolation game but lose to Patrick. Can he say “DENIED”, and take home another top-3 finish? Possible Keepers: Grade: D Mid-Season record: 2-5
Total Pickups: 6
Comments: The Big Dog Sports entered their first year in the SEBFL, just as other first comers to our league have found out, winning in our league can be a challenge in year #1. Unlike other leagues, ours can be competitive and thus mistakes, bad draft picks and of course tough injuries can ruin a season. At 2-5 the uphill battle to earn a playoff spot can seem too tough to overcome, but other teams have gone onto perfect second half to earn a playoff spot and championship. Lets see what weapons can be used to earn a long winning streak. QBs are Bo Nix and Jalen Hurts, Bo was recently acquired, and we shall see if the rookie QB in Denver can succeed now that he was given the job. Jalen has 7 TDs and 1,300 yards thus one reason why Nix was acquired. RBs are James Conner, Joe Mixon, and hopefully soon Jonathan Taylor. Mixon’s move to Houston has been a good choice as he now has 4 TDs and 400 yards rushing, just needs to stay healthy. WRs are Sutton, Waddle and McConkey, this is where the team has struggled as these players have 4 TDs and 700+ yards. Mike Evans is probably out 3-4 weeks, can the other wideouts step up to fill his shoes? Big Dog has some big games ahead, more or less, consider it each week a playoff game, where if they lose, they could be knocked out of the playoffs. Good luck… Grade: D+ Keepers: None Top 3 draft picks: Jonathan Taylor, Jalen Hurts & Joe Mixon, Jonathan is hoping for a much-improved Colts offense with Richardson coming back from his injury from last season. If Anthony can move the chains, Taylor will see plenty of goal-line carries. Jalen has two elite weapons to throw to in Brown and Smith, now you add RB Barkley it is no wonder many feel the Eagles will win the NFC East. Joe Mixon moved from Cincy to Houston. He is now playing on a Top 5 offense. Houston is picked by many to go far in this season’s playoffs, having a RB like Mixon will help the Texans offense. Overall: Big Dog Sports enters his season in the SEBFL. He took over the Rookie team and decided to clean house and build the franchise through the draft. We shall if the selection of Taylor over Justin Jefferson was the better choice. Lets look at the key players on this team. QBs: Jalen Hurts & Justin Herbert, not long ago Justin would have been a high draft pick, this season he dropped to the 13th round. Losing your two starting WRs and RB will move a player down draft board. RBs: Taylor, Mixon, & Conner, three solid RBs to rotate in for bye weeks or an injury. WRs: Evans, Waddle, Pittmann, Rice, Sutton & McConkey, this is a good group of WRs, Evans just likes to catch for 1,000 yards and score 10 TDs, Waddle just needs to stay healthy, because with Hill on the other side of the field, Waddle will get plenty of one-one-one matchups. Keep an eye on Ladd McConkey, he will see plenty of passes thrown his way in LA. Other weapons are Jake Ferguson and David Njoku at the TE position. Big Dog Sports enters the season as the newest member of the league. Does he have enough beginners luck to earn a playoff spot? CBS Sports predicts Big Dog to finish in 7th place, just missing out of the playoffs. CBS Draft Grade: B- Projected Points per week: 118.05 |

Lady Cougars ![]() Championship appearances: 2 Championships: 2 Division Titles: 2 Playoff Appearances: 11 2024 Year-End: 10-4 Record, 1st. place. Possible Keepers: Grade: A Mid-Season record: 4-3 Top Players:
Total Pickups: 2
Comments: The Cougars enter the second half at 4-3 and find themselves in the playoffs if the season were to end today. What is even more amazing is only two pickups were made all season. That means a lot of draft picks went right and the injury bug didn’t hit this team with a CMC-like injury. Lets see how team can get another 4 wins in the second half. QBs: Mahomes & Baker Mayfield, Patrick has been benched for Baker after he has put solid numbers all season with 18 TDs and 1,800 yards. With Mike Evans and Chris Godwin both sidelined we shall see how this will affect the passing attack in Tampa. RBs are Dobbins, Pollard and James Cook. Cook was a keeper and that looks like a smart move as he has 5 TDs and 340 yards rushing, while Pollard’s move to Tennessee was good move with 400 yards and 3 TDs. This is a solid group of backs that are helping to move the chains. WRs are Amari Cooper and Tee Higgins. The hope is Coopers move to Buffalo will further boost his production. Tee has been heating up in Cincy he now has 3 TDs and 340+ yards after missing time to open the season. The Cougars are built for a playoff run, they have the plenty of pickups to use in the 2nd half, one of my sleeper teams to watch out for in the second half. Grade: B Keepers: Patrick Mahomes & James Cook Top 3 draft picks: Amari Cooper, George Kittle, Tony Pollard. Amari will see plenty of throws his way in the Cleveland offense. The biggest question in Cleveland, will we see DeShaun Watson play at a high level, considering he is one of the highest paid QBs in the NFL, he should be. George Kittle, I see no reason why George won’t be a top-5 TE once again. He plays on an explosive 49ers offense that will provide plenty of redzone opportunities for George. Pollard simply was awful last season, no surprise that the Cowboys let him walk. Does the move to Tennessee help his run game? Overall: The Cougars weren’t a playoff team last season, they decided to keep arguably the best QB in NFL instead of cutting him. Joining Patrick was James Cook, who will be a focal point within the Bills offense. QBs: Mahomes & Baker Mayfield, Baker cashed in with a huge contract extension after his solid 2023 season. Patrick on the other hand is finically secure as he just keeps winning Super Bowls. RBs: Cook, Pollard, Benson, Ford, & Dobbins, Cook will be the #1 back on this team and will look for a 1,000 yards and 10+ TDs either rushing or receiving. Tony is my concern on this team as the #2 back. He really struggled last year in Dallas, can he bounce back? WRs: Cooper, Higgins, Flowers, and Johnson, I see no reason why Cooper won’t be targeted early and often in Cleveland. Tee Higgins has to simply stay healthy, he has so much talent and plays on a very good offense but he simply can’t stay of the field. TEs: Dalton Schulz, he plays on one of the top offenses in the NFL in Houston. CJ Stroud will look his way often. The Cougars look to bounce back and try to earn a playoff spot and make a run for their 2nd league championship. CBS Sports however picks them to finish in 10th place. “Prove them wrong”, should be their rally cry. CBS Draft Grade: D- Projected Points per week: 111.61 |

Not Dead Yet ![]() Championship appearances: 1 Championships: 0 Division Titles: 4 Playoff Appearances: 10 2024 Year-End: 9-5, 5th place Possible Keepers:
Mid-Season record: 5-2 Top Players:
Total Pickups: 8
Comments: The Dead are clicking so far this season with the best overall record at 5-2. They enter the second half as the team to beat. No pressure. Lets see how the first half went right and how they can repeat that same performance in the second half. QBs are Jordan Love and Geno Smith, when Love was hurt earlier in the season Geno was able to fill in and provide the needed scoring. Jordan has been the go-to QB as of late and he now has 15 TDs and 1,300 yards. If the Packers want to win the NFC North, Jordan will need to stay healthy and keep throwing TDs instead of INTs. RBs are Kyren Williams, Barkley and Chase Brown, Saquon has been very good after his move to Philly he has 5 rushing TDs and 600+ yards. Chase looks like the lead back in Cincy and now has 3 TDs and 300+ yards, can he hold off Zach Moss? WRs are Malik Nabers, Chris Olave and Jordan Addison was picked up. Chris is banged up, plus Carr has missed a lot time in New Orleans, and his numbers reflect it with 1 TD and less than 300 yards. Get this talented WR healthy and soon. Malik Nabers is having a really good rookie season with 420+ yards and 3 TDs, and doing this on a bad Giants offense. The Dead have all of the key positions covered and you can see why they won 5 games on the year. Can they earn a division title, first round bye, and finally earn that elusive league championship? In 7 weeks we will have some answer to those questions. To be continued… Grade: A- Keepers: None Top 3 draft picks: Saquon Barkley, Kyren Williams, Nico Collins. Barkley is moving from New York to Philadelphia, and this should really improve his scoring in the red-zone and overall. How can you not like having Hurts as your QB over Daniel Jones. Kyren Williams was a surprise RB last season in LA. As he became a top 15 RB. The Rams became a playoff team, and many feel the same will happen once again this season. Nico plays on a really good Houston offense, my only concern, with so many weapons on the field, are there going be enough TDs for everyone? Overall: The Dead decided to cut everyone loose and build the team over again. They passed on three really good WRs and went with Barkley with their first pick. They followed that selection up with another top back in Williams. Other back on this team is Mostert, Robinson Jr., Chase Brown and Jaylen Wright; what is not to like about a RB in Mostert who likes to score TDs in bunches. WRs, in addition to Collins are Olave, Nabors and Doubs. Olave should be a highly targeted WR in New Orleans, 1,000 yards and 10 TDs could be reached by this speedy WR. QBs: Love and Caleb Williams, Jordan signed a huge contract this off-season, it is time for him to live up the millions thrown his way. If the Packers are going to be a playoff team, Love will need to have an Aaron Rodgers type season. We shall see how good Willians plays in his rookie season, it is rare to be drafted #1 overall and go to a team with plenty of options to throw to. Another weapon is TE Trey McBride who will be Kyler Murrays top red zone weapon in Arizona. The Dead look for their first league championship as they enter their 19th season in the SEBL. CBS Sports feels they will finish in 3rd place and win during the consolation game. CBS Draft Grade: A+ Projected Points per week: 120.61 |

Total Pickups: 12
Comments: The Honor are leading the North division with a 4-3 record and look like a playoff team with the talented weapons on this team. Can they keep the core players healthy and make a playoff run to get back to the championship game? Lets see how they earn more wins. QBs are Jared Goff and Kyler Murray, Jared has been the starts as of late as he has 10 TDs and 1,600 yards, while Kyler has 9 and 1,300 yards. Does the team stick with Jared or do they look at the matchups and decide which QB to start? RBs are David Montgomery, Najee Harris, and Javonte Williams. David has 6 TDs and just under 400 yards, he is solid start each week. Harris is quietly having a good year in Pittsburgh, no matter who is the QB. 470+ yards and 2 TDs. WRs are St. Brown, Ja’Marr Chase and Marvin Harrison Jr. Ja’Marr is the SEBFL leading WR with 6 TDs and 600+ yards and 126 points. Marvin Harrison as quickly become Murray’s go-to target in Arizona with 4 TDs and 300 yards. The Honor are trying to fend off the Nothing and Yoopers to earn a North division title, but that also gives you the perk of a first-round bye. They need at least 4 wins to earn a title, but 5 would be even better. We shall see what that win total is in 7 more weeks. Grade: B+ 2023: Year-End: 5-9 8th Place Keepers: None Top 3 draft picks: Amon-Ra St. Brown, Ja’Marr Chase and Marvin Harrison Jr. This team went WR early and often in the draft. St Brown should see plenty of passes thrown his way from the slot. 1,500 yards and 10 TDs is within reach for this WR. Chase is a talented weapon but either he or the QB is hurt in Cincy, so we never get to see both play at a high-level at the same time. Is 2024 a year when we can see both players healthy all season? If yes, just like St. Brown, 1,500 yards and 10 TDs are within reach. Marvin joins the NFL as a rookie in Arizona. He will make a run for the Rookie of the year. Kyler Murray has his go-to WR that he never had last season. Overall: The Honor can make a case as having the best set of WRs in the league, joining the three top draft picks are Christian Kirk and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. QBs: Kyler Murray and Jared Goff, this team might play the matchups when deciding who to start at the QB. Both QBs will have one his own WRs to throw to in St. Brown and Harrison Jr. RBs: David Montgomery, N. Harris, Gus Edwards Javonte Williams, & Blake Corum; with so many high draft picks at the WR position the team used mid-round draft picks to compete with the CMCs of the league. David was solid in Detroit last season, can he repeat the performance in ’24? TE: Travis Kelce, he is arguably the best TE in the NFL. He has been Mahomes go-to receiver for years, I see no reason why that will change this season. The Honor have won 4 league championships and are hoping that with a top-3 draft pick in each round, championship #5 can be earned this season. CBS Sports is selecting them to finish in 5th place and suffer a wildcard round loss. CBS Draft Grade: B Projected Points per week: 118.44 |

Comments: The Nothing like to do things the hard way. Finish the draft and then suffer a losing streak to open the season, when things look bleak they string together wins to put themselves into the playoff race. 2024 is more of the same, 0-3 to start the season but now have won 4 straight. Can they extend the winning streak into the second half? Lets what has gone right with this team. QBs are Joe Burrow or Derek Carr, with Carr out, Joe has been leading this team to 4 straight wins with 14 TDs and 1,750 yards. RBs are DeAndre Swift, Bucky Irving or Rachaad White, while not in the league of a Barkley or Derrick Henry this group of backs have been dependable with the right matchups. Swift now has 3 TDs and 325 yards. Bucky has been stealing carries in Tampa and he now has 3 TDs and 350 yards. We shall see if the backs will be used more in the passing game now that Evans and Godwin are out. Where this team really shines is at the WR position of AJ Brown, CeeDee Lamb and Jaylen Reed. Brown missed time this season but still has 3 TDs and 320 yards, while Lamb and Dak have struggled to connect, thus why he has 2 TDs but 420+ yards. Reed has been nice addition to this team and now has 3 TDs and 450 yards. Can he become the Packers #1 WR? The Nothing have used this same playbook for a number of years, start off slow only to go off a long winning streak and become crowned league Champion. Is history going to repeat? Stay tuned… Grade: B Keepers: CeeDee Lamb & AJ Brown Top 3 draft picks: Sam Laporta, Rachad White, & Joe Burow Sam Laporta had one of the best seasons ever by a rookie TE, can he get the same kind of production this season? White in Tampa should see plenty of carries or throws his way. He has the making of a 1,000 yard back with 6-10 TDs. If Tampa is going to win the NFC South, White has to have a big season. Joe needs to stay healthy and also needs to get his two WRs healthy in Chase and Higgins. If Cincy hopes to win the AFC North Joe needs to play like he did when they went to the Super Bowl. Overall: The Nothing had to use the 10th pick in each round to build the team around Lamb and Brown. Lets see how they can earn a 4th league title? RBs: R. White, Z. White and Zeke Elliott, can the backs of White and Zeke compete at high level when they play teams using CMC or Barkley or Hall?? QBs: Burrow or Purdy, Brock and Joe both play in an offense that can score in bunches. I expect Joe to get most of the starts but Brock might have some favorable matchups and get the nod instead. WRs: Lamb, Brown, Jaylen Reed, DeAndre Hopkins and Josh Palmer, this might be one of the best group of WRs in the league. CeeDee got his huge contract and I expect a ton of balls thrown his way to earn his millions. Other weapons on this team are Cole Kmet and 49ers defense. The Nothing are this season’s defending champion and have won three league titles since they joined the league 6 years ago, can they earn a back-to-back championship? CBS Sports is predicting this team to finish in 8th place and miss the playoffs. CBS Draft Grade: D+ Projected Points per week: 117.99 |

Comments: The Attack are 4-2-1 on the year. They ended up tying the Mudders and then following week suffer a one point loss to the Cougars. A tough stretch for any fantasy owner to go thru, so damn close? Lets see how this team can earn more wins in the second half and maybe earn a South division title. QBs: Lamar Jackson, he has my vote for league MVP with 15 TDs and 1,800 yards passing and 455 rushing yards and 2 more rushing TDs. RBs are Alvin Kamara & Jahmyr Gibbs combined they have 11 rushing TDs and 900 yards rushing. The lack of depth behind these two backs is a concern as guys like Zach Moss or Rico Dowdle haven’t emerged on their teams as legit starters. WRs have been disappointing this year with Tyreek Hill, DJ Moore and Jameson Williams. Jamo is out 2 games due to a suspension, while Tyreek has been awful with only 1 TD and 290 yards. After Tua went down the entire Dolphins offense fell apart. DJ Moore has the rookie QB in Williams and these two haven’t connected like I had hoped. He has 3 TDs and 314 yards. The Attack are in the hunt for a division title and playoff spot, but considering how poorly the WRs have played, I am surprised they are in this position. Can the QBs of Carr & Tua get healthy so their offenses will thrive and thus help Kamara and Hill thrive? It will be a fun and exciting next 7 weeks. Grade: B+ Keepers: Tyreek Hill & Jamir Gibbs Top 3 draft picks: Lamar Jackson, Brandon Aiyuk, & DJ Moore. The Attack decided to address the horrible QB scores from last season by drafting an MVP QB in Lamar Jackson. He is a dual threat QB that will be relied on to throw and run for many scores in 2024. Brandon finally signed his contract extension and will be relied on to provide deep play scores in San Franscico. 1,000 yards and 10 TDs are within reach for the wideout. DJ Moore hopes Caleb Williams is the real deal in Chicago and these two can connect for plenty of TDs this season. Overall: The Attack try to bounce back from their loss in the championship game and make a run for another run for a ring. Lets see how this team hopes to improve those odds. QBs: Lamar or Tua, Tua got his big payday, now he has to prove he was worth every penny. As long as he has Hill and Waddle on the field, those TDs should keep on coming. RBs: Gibbs, Kamara, Moss and Rico Dowdle. Can Kamara provide one more season of catching and rushing at a high-level in New Orleans? WRs are Hill, Aiyuk, Moore, Ridley and Jameson Williams, this is a talented group of WRs. Williams will be expected to provide a lot of scoring opposite of St. Brown in Detroit, having a big season from him will give the Attack one more weapon to use during bye weeks. Other weapons are TEs Pat Freiermuth and TJ Hockenson, TJ will miss 5 weeks with his knee injury, can the Attack hold onto him until he can return to the active roster? The Attack are looking for their 5th league championship in their 29th season. A long time in this league.
