Results: Attack 104 VS Mudders 82 Puka Nacua and Sack Attack put an end to Mad Mudders' three game streak Mad Mudders came into this week's match-up on a three-game win streak, but Sack Attack put an end to that, winning 104 to 82. Sack Attack won despite having their lowest point total for the year. Sack Attack have now won four games in a row, which brings their record to 4 – 0. The loss is the first of the season for Mad Mudders, dropping their record to 3 – 1. Puka Nacua separated himself from the rest of the crew on Sack Attack, tallying 23 points. Nacua's performance late on Sunday took him from the 7th best player to the 2nd best player in the league. He got a whopping 15 targets (catching all but two) on his way to 170 receiving yards and a score. Meanwhile, David Montgomery, Ryan Fitzgerald, and the Packers Defense/ST each failed to come up with more than 1 point for Mad Mudders this week. Fitzgerald's 1 point was fewer than every other kicker this season. Coach Dwight Yarger's lineup matched the poor performance of their team. They went with Tee Higgins over the higher ranked Xavier Worthy. This decision shaved 8 points from Mad Mudders' score, which ultimately didn't make a difference in the final outcome. Coach Yarger's decisions this week did cost them their title as the best gameday coach in the league (Coach Charles Bahringer wears the crown now). Predictions: Mudders by 1 QBs: Allen VS Jackson, Josh is playing the Saints at home while Lamar is playing the Chiefs in KC. |
