All Eyes on Me
Results: Mudders 89 VS Nothing 75 James Cook's 31 points sinks Here Goes Nothing Coach Dwight Yarger used their first pick on James Cook, and Cook came through. Cook was the key component as Mad Mudders got the job done against Here Goes Nothing, winning 89 to 75. His 31 point performance was the best of any running back this week. He broke some ankles on this 44-yard TD. Although Coach Yarger got the win, they cannot have been happy with Josh Allen's performance this week. Allen failed to show up, scoring 10 points. That was quite a falloff from last week, when he scored 48 points. Meanwhile, the Broncos Defense/ST, Jacory Croskey-Merritt, and Evan Engram were all working off the same playbook this week, each recording only 1 point for Here Goes Nothing. Adding to their problems, Here Goes Nothing's kicker, Chase McLaughlin, was the worst at his position. The win brings Mad Mudders' record to 2 – 0, while dropping Here Goes Nothing to 0 – 1 – 1. Predictions: Mudders by 1 The Nothing tied last week while the Mudders won. Can the Mudders go 2-0 to start the year? QBs: Allen VS Dak, Josh was amazing on Sunday night, now he plays the Jets in NY. Dak is playing the Giants at home. RBs: Irving & Pollard VS Henry & Cook, the two backs on the Muuders scored over 50 last week, can they do that again? The backs on Nothing combined for 17. They need to play much better. WRs: Lamb & London VS Higgins & Flowers, with Xavier hurt, does Flowers get the start after his big week 1 on the bench? London is also hurt, if he can't go does Wilson get the nod? |
