Better Lucky than Good
Results: A.J. Brown helps The Dominators to a lucky win After last week's laugher, things got a lot more exciting for Coach Dennis Helm this week. The Dominators squeaked past Not Dead Yet, winning 89 to 85. Big time luck for The Dominators in this contest, as they would have lost against all but one other team. The loss makes it five in a row for Not Dead Yet, putting their record at 2 – 10. The win brings The Dominators to 8 – 4. A.J. Brown was the clear leader on The Dominators this week, scoring 20 points. This is the 3rd time this year that Brown has led The Dominators. He has been making good strides recently, improving his performance in each of the last three weeks. Meanwhile, AJ Barner and Kayshon Boutte were quite coordinated in their failures for Not Dead Yet. They each tallied only 1 point. Barner has now failed to top the league average tight end in three straight games. Next week could eventually determine who the top seed is, as The Dominators will go against Sack Attack in a game between league leaders. The coaches in this game could exchange tips on coming up clutch, having both won close games this week. As for Not Dead Yet, they will match up with Lady Cougars next week. That team is not coming in very hot, after finishing this week with only 70 points. These two teams squared off in week four, when Not Dead Yet lost 133 to 103. Predictions: Bye week players Waddle for Dominators while Dead lose kicker Dicker. QBs: Stafford VS maye, Matthew is playing Tampa Bay at home while Drake is playing at Cincy. |
