Results: Jonathan Taylor (47 points) leads Lady Cougars to a win over Juggernauts It's not that hard to win when you have the league's top performer for the week, and Jonathan Taylor was that player. Taylor led the way as Lady Cougars got the job done against Juggernauts, winning 121 to 105. A 47 point performance is all in a day's work for the best player in the league. He has four games with 3+ total touchdowns this season (no other player has more than one). Baker Mayfield provided the only truly sour note for Lady Cougars this week, as he scored 6 points. Mayfield failed to throw a touchdown for the first time this season. Meanwhile, it will be difficult for Coach Charles Bahringer to fault any one player for the loss. Juggernauts were brought down by six underperformers, the worst of whom was Eddy Pineiro (1 point). That was the fewest of any kicker this week. His performance also broke his three game streak of surpassing the league average. Emeka Egbuka falling 7.6 points short of his expectations didn't help matters much either. Underperforming is the new normal for Egbuka, who has gone three straight games without hitting his projected point total. The win brings Lady Cougars' record to 5 – 3, while dropping Juggernauts to 2 – 5 – 1. Predictions: Juggernauts by 1 Bye week players: Williams, Seattle defense and Jeanty for Juggernauts while Cougars lose Lions defense. QBs: Daniels VS Mayfield. Jayden is hurt, if he can't play that leaves Jones as the next man up. Baker is playing the Saints on the road. RBs: Taylor & Vidal VS McCaffrey & Harvey, not sure about both secodn RBs on each team. Pickups??? WRs: Addison & Metcalf VS Pittman & Doubs, does Doubs get the start this week over Bourne? Does Egbuka play this week for the 'Nauts? |
