Photo by USATSI Results: Mudders 134 VS Nothing 67 James Cook helps Mad Mudders end their 4 game losing streak Coach Dwight Yarger really needed someone to lend them a hand and help end their four game losing streak. Coach Brent Knudson were only too happy to help. Mad Mudders (4 – 4) destroyed Here Goes Nothing (2 – 5 – 1), winning 134 to 67. Blowouts are typical for these teams these days. Mad Mudders has been involved in three straight blowout games, while this is the 2nd straight blowout game for Here Goes Nothing. Mad Mudders set their new high mark for the season with their 134 points. On the other side of things, Here Goes Nothing were setting their personal low score mark for the year. James Cook was the key contributor for Mad Mudders, notching 42 points. That was the 2nd most of any running back this season. He embarrassed Carolina's defense with this 64-yard house call. Meanwhile, Dak Prescott hadn't dropped the ball for Here Goes Nothing since week three's stinker. Well, that run has come to an end. Dak loomed large in the loss for Here Goes Nothing, posting 6 points.2 His performance this week definitively ended a four game streak of beating the experts' projections. He had thrown 3+ TDs and no picks for four straight games, but both streaks ended this week. Coach Knudson's gameday decisions have been the worst in the league this season, and this week showed why. They started two players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. One of those picks, Tyler Allgeier, worked out. The other pick, Prescott, did not. Overall, these moves cost Here Goes Nothing a total of 25 points. This marks the 3rd straight week where Coach Knudson have cost their team points. Predictions: Mudders by 1 Bye week players: Mudders lose Thomas Jr. & Montgomery, the Nothing lose no starters. QBs: Allen VS Prescott, Josh returns from his bye week and plays at Carolina while Dak is at Denver. RBs: Pollard & Allgeier VS Henry & Cook, nboth backs for the Mudders is back this week. The Nothing look for waiver wire gem, until then they roll with Pollard and Tyler. WRs: Lamb & Pickens VS Higgins & Worthy, I am guessing both WRs are starting for the Nothing while Tee is started this week for the Mudders. |
